I'm heading out to Road America for some sports car racing next weekend, so I am out.

If things don't improve soon, I'm going to have to sell the TL, I am getting so frustrated! Too bad I can't get any of the cars I want though.

Sadly I've been thinking about selling my ack lately and just buying like a beemer or an rx7. In a couple years when either I transfer schools or move. Because I won't even be driving it this winter. But I most likely won't do that. Its just a thought that goes through my mind lately.

i wouldnt mind selling mine for a civic hatch or something haha, maybe rsx, it'll be a nice boost for gas mileage and there's way more aftermarket support. then again, i do like being able to haul 5 girls at once :P

It just understeers so bad everywhere, maybe a good alignment will help, but every time I try to actually run fast, I push the hell out of the front end. The new tires helped a lot, but it was still pushing hard on all of my fast laps and I still had 2 full seconds to the next car in front of me. The only saving grace was that the car that was in front of me was only 3 seconds off the fast time in my class. Much better than last time when I was 9 seconds off the leader in my class.

That Evo X is sounding pretty damn good right about now, four doors, 291 HP, 300 lb ft of torque, all-wheel drive, flappy-paddle shifter, race seats, damn, I want. I want bad...

Yeah, but would she bite for the kids, or the car? Is that a risk you would want to take?

Hey, any of you looking to move out on your own, my buddy Kaleb is looking for a room mate. His current version is moving out to live with his GF.

His place is not far from my house in downtown Mpls, rent is $4xx per month plus 1/2 the utilities, parking space in a surface lot is $45/month, and he has a cat. Let me know if you are interested and I will pass your contact info along to Kaleb (AKA-KK).

I know at least one of you, cough-Razzi-cough needs to get out on your own...

Look at me, Mr Postwhore today!

Ok, so while I was in STL, a friend of mine bestowed upon me his Valentine 1 radar detector to sell up here. If anyone is interested, this one just needs the new firmware and it is up to the current spec. New firmware is something like $80 from Valentine and used ones are going for about $3-350 on the internet, so this one is going to be priced at the bottom of that range, $300. Let me know if you want the baddest radar detector around...

We just got back from my brother's baby shower in St Louis, so the conversation has been pretty much out there for the last week or so. She's a few years older than me, so her biological clock is ticking like a time bomb (think Morissa Tomei in My Cousin Vinnie) and as she says, she's "not getting any younger".

We shall see though, I have a lot of cars I want to get before I get stuck in a family truckster. I know the TL is a family truckster, but having it because I like it and having it because I need it are two totally different scenarios. I really want that M5, and an Evo X, and the RS6 Avant would be pretty pimp too. Not to mention that I really want to pick up a Cayman S. And what about the scooter we just got? She can't ride a scooter if she's got a big ol' preggers belly!

Dang man... word for word. You been talking to Kelli while I'm at work? She's 31 (I'm 29) and you'd think she was gonna die any day now.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get all my toys before she decides it's "time". Once that happens, there are no more toys... I'll prolly still autocross, but I need to get a machine that is good for autocross before then so that I will be set for a few years.

That's why I'm thinking the M5 might be something good to get right now, so we can get it and get through some of the hiccups of getting a new (to us) car before we get to the "time".

And I am going to be 31 this year, E is 34, so it is that much louder...

The autocross guys have a drive coming up on the 10th, anyone down?

Follow this link to find out more details. If this turns out to be a good drive it might be fun for the 16th event.

NIN Minneapolis show at Target Center postponed to November 25th
Posted: Fri, 01 Aug 2008 19:13:52 -0500
We regret to announce that due to illness, the Minneapolis show originally scheduled for Saturday, August 2nd at the Target Center has been postponed. The band is sincerely sorry for the last minute announcement, but after receiving doctor's orders not to perform, Trent has reluctantly agreed to the postponement.

The concert is being rescheduled for Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 at Target Center. All tickets purchased for the August 2nd concert will be honored on the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date of November 25th, a refund will be available at original point of purchase.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

I wasn't going to sell them, I was just going to give them away. But, it is nice that they postponed it until November, maybe we will go then. We only wanted to get rid of them because it was one of our good friends' birthday.

That would kick ass, want to get to a meet but I work every Saturday for the most part. I'd love to get to one before I bust another rim or take them off for the winter, which ever would come first.
