Glow, you still want to sell those drives? I have room for two more in here...
I'll have to double check, but I think I've still got access to 2. $60 a pop, can't really do much on the price (not that $60 isn't a steal already). Any more thoughts on the SDHC card(s) as well? I'd do $50/90 depending on if you were interested in one or two.

I'm gonna be tearing into my system this weekend as well. I'm only running 32bit XP right now, so I've only got 4gb ram - but I bought 8 when I built the system knowing I'd be 64bit eventually. Tomorrow is the day. Preordered Windows 7 (business pro - who needs encryption and support for 37 languages?) from Microcenter for $80! Helluva deal if you ask me. So I'll be wiping my current drive to use for the OS and reinstalling all apps. Then I'm going to ghost the drive just to be on the safe side. While I'm doing this all - I'm going to finally install the 1.5TB drive that I bought more than 6 months ago. Buy high.... and sit on it until it's cheap before you install. That's my motto!

Lemme talk to the wife and see if she's down. I'm ready to pull the trigger on both of those drives right now.

I had forgotten about the SDHC cards entirely, I'll have to bring that up as well..

smart man! re: talking to wife part.

I once heard from a friend.. if you want something real bad just buy it (as long as it's a nominal value item) then you ask for forgiveness. If it's you ask first then buy chances are it's a no lol

Glow, count me in for the two 1TB drives and one of the memory cards for the camera.

Quick question, what's the story on the two drives? They old out of some machine, or new and lying around? RPMs? Cache? SATA?

They are brand new OEM drives from Dell's that a friend of my dads had laying around. Basically it came down to that my dad has/had them listed on CL for I believe something around $80.

Well, he picked up like 8 of these things, and I told him that I could probably get rid of a few for him. He's decent enough to say that since he picked them up for $60, I can sell them for the same price to someone I know. He doesn't lose any money, and it leaves him with 2 drives less that he could potentially be stuck with if the prices drop another $30-40 before he sells them.

As for stats... Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive

I'm also getting frustrated as hell with Windows 7. I think part of it is my fault, but now i have to do things 1 step at a time until I can be sure.

Long story short, my PC keeps locking up after reboot saying its missing an NTOSKRNL.exe file.

I think it has something to do with me going from XP32 to W7 64, and using a data transfer wizard. I think it's replacing 64 bit files with 32 bit ones trying to retain my previous settings.

But - I've loaded Windows 7 about 4 times now. Took the CD out too fast the first time. Didnt format the drive, so it recognized 2 installs of windows 7 during boot. I hope I get this figured out soon. My ass has to get up for work in a few hours.

This is why I am a fan of having an OS drive and a content drive. It makes wiping the computer a lot less of a problem if you have your content on another physical drive. Just blast the OS and start from scratch if you want.

Not a bad price if it's clean and has about 100K on the clock.

Tein coil-overs and upgraded sway-bars are planned for now. Nothing too crazy. Wheels and tires are still undecided. I need something light, strong and that look good. I'd love to pick up a set of HRE's, but we'll see.

By the way, you replaced your end-links when you did your RSB, right? Did you go with OEM replacements?

I've been trying to decide on what wheels to go with and I actually have the same criteria that you have. That's my winter task....figure out what wheels to get. Yes I replaced the rear endlinks when I installed the progress RSB, but they were Moog endlinks and I highly recommend them. They have an overall larger diameter and are far easier to install/remove than the oem links. I'm thinking I might get the front sway bar and install that and new front links next spring too, along with koni struts. Then my suspension will be good for now.

I'm a little mad right now, cause RV6 is out of the precats and doesn't have a date as to when he will have new ones in, so I'm holding off on ordering the precat deletes and test pipe. I noticed your sig says you bought the resonated version....any comments on it? I can't decide between the resonated and non-resonated.

Oh, other advice on the rsb removal install.....take the wheels off to get at things easier and when you pull the sway bar out and install the new sway bar lift up on the rear suspension with another jack or disconnect the rear arm. That will make it far easier to do and you won't end up with a scratched up rsb like I have

Yeah, it F'n STINKS lol. I think I'm going to have to sacrifice a little power and pick up a high-flow cat at some point. You do get some exhaust smell creeping back into the car when rolling down the highway with the sunroof open. Sitting at lights or in traffic is

The resonated version still does have quite a bit more growl than the factory cat. I was REALLY shocked at the difference in the exhaust note between the first and second times at the dyno.

Really? You can smell it while driving down the highway?? Are you sure there aren't any leaks? I wouldn't think you could smell it while driving down the highway....at a stop light I can understand, but not while driving. I'm probably going with the non-res version. Do you have any drone issues that others on the forum are complaining about? Usually they complain after installing a catback, but I thought I'd see what you've experienced so far. Either way I can't wait to hear it in person!!

You guys don't know anyone in need of a 12" Eclipse sub, do you? I'm about to throw the thing out, but I'd hate to do it... I'd give it away for free, but I don't want to drive out of my way. If need be, I can take some pics and and post them up on here. It's an 8712.4, I'm not sure on specs, but you could probably find out the info by googling it.

If it's free and it works, I'll always put it to use. I used to have quite the system and I got carried away and sold it all (had a RF DB1000 amp with 2 12's and a 15 in a hatchback)

Dunno if I'd put it in my TL or use it in the truck

Speaking of truck - thought you guys would get a good chuckle out of me...

Some time ago, I picked up one of those armor all care packs that came with armor-all, glass, and leather wipes (3-pack ya know)

Well, the truck has been sitting not being driven all that often from the summer, so it got some crazy coating on the inside of the windows. Didn't bother me too much, but whatever it was liked to fog up in a hurry.

Grabbed the trusty ol' armor-all window wipes. Started wiping away. Sometimes glass cleaners tend to streak a little when they are overly wet, but they clear up once they dry. So I'm wiping and wiping. Thinking "Damn... this stuff streaks a lot". oh shit.... look down - I'm smearing regular armor-all all over the windshield. So now I have this greasy ass mess all over my truck windows... lol

At least I know for a fact that those things are clean now. I had to put some elbow grease into it to get that coating off. lmao

It is completely free. No cracks in the rubber or anything. Great condition minus the dust from just sitting.
