Well it's settled then.....we'll have bmeyer's s/c TL, versus your s/c g, versus my turbo'd TL Boy that would be a fun little run together!! I just need someone to give me $5600 for the turbo kit that pass put together......hmmm....maybe stimulus dollars

Heh.

That turbo kit sounds pretty nuts. I'm running about as much power as I can without having severe traction issues. I can't imagine what it'd be like to launch a turbo'd TL.

Sounds good.

If any of you 2G fellas are looking for some junk parts for your cars, I found this autobody shop down in the Bloomington area near Mall of America who seems to pick up alot of junk TLs. I picked up a set of 18" 2004 TL A-spec rims in great condition with fresh tires for $750. Gonna throw em on over the weekend for a cleaner look and maybe sell my black/polish lip Ziniks.

There's a tiny bit of curb rash on one edge of one of the rims (not all around the whole edge, just a small part), other than that, they're all still pretty fresh. I just bought them brand new from tirerack this spring for $1500.

FYI for anyone wanting to replace their RSB......buy replacement endlinks ahead of time! Otherwise you end up driving around with a partially attached OEM RSB! Hope I get the Moog endlinks in the mail tomorrow!

Was not a good night after meeting you bmeyer Thanks for the ride in the TL though!

Sorry to hear that, man. You guys should have stayed and drank some beer and played card games instead.

By the way, my harness was waiting on my door step when I got back home Sat. Looks like I'll be able to make a run up to RS sometime this week.

You're right, I probably should have stayed.....oh well. The plus side is that I got to order yet another new (hopefully better) part for the TL!

The link for the race pipe didn't work? Basically loaded a blank page.

lol. Thanks man. I read on the site that Richie says not to install the precat deletes without a full innovative mount kit. Any guesses as to why? I sent him a pm just now, but thought I'd check with you since you already have them.

My guess is that the engine will flex in the stock mounts more than the welds/pipes were designed to handle.

You don't have the innovative mounts though, right? Have you noticed any problems? Have you checked your mounts since putting the s/c on?

Correct. I'm still on the stock mounts. No problems as of right now. (Though I've only been running them for a short amount of time.) The Innovative mounts should be here next week.

Well I should be getting the replacement rear Moog endlinks today, so I'll be putting those on along with the Progress RSB tonight! Hopefully do the UR pulley Friday night if I have a chance.

I put together a list of what to do next and need input from you guys. Options are:
1. RV-6 Pre-cat deletes and resonanted test pipe
2. Accord fogs
3: Debadge
4: Re-tint windows (probably to 20%)
5: Paint engine bay
6: Innovative motor mounts
7: Acura center console carbon fiber overlays

I think I have my mind made up, but am just curious to see what you guys think I should do.

You'll have to let me know what you think of the mounts. I'll be curious to know what shape the oem ones are in when you remove them too. When you gonna be back in the cities for your tune?

I was going to replace the rsb on my car the other night and my buddy stripped out a bolt on my driver side rsb endlink Couldn't get it off, so I overnighted new Moog endlinks. Gonna cut it off tonight and install the new ones She'll be back and running in no time!

Side note to everyone, the mnsubaru club is doing a fall fun run through WI on some rural roads in Oct. I might try and keep up in my TL, but just thought I'd let some of you guys know about it
