I guess we were all waiting for pictures of 'Yosemite Sam TL'. That, or there isn't much to say after the Yosemite Sam comment...

Maybe this will liven things up lets see who has the dirtiest car. Here is mine after only one day on the road yesterday I had it washed on Saturday so it was perfectly clean before the snowstorm.

Yea - I cheated this winter. Left the garage twice and it was above 40 and dry both times.

My truck is looking kind of truck'ish though

Yea.. I was getting my beauty sleep since i have to get on a party bus in 45 minutes.

So here is how my day is going to go:

10:00: Get a drink at the bar, get on the bus. Keg on the bus headed to the casino. Get back at 5:30, have a drink and a burger.

Leave Willy's

Drive to Shortstop where a party bus departs at 9:00pm and hopefully drops me off somewhere that I know, but if he didn't I'm sure I won't complain when the time comes.

That's it.

Oh... and I'm gettin' the Dish tomorrow. I'm excited. I currently pay Comcast $105 for 150 channels and 1 cable box. I will be paying the Dish (after promotional stuff runs out) $67.99 for 200 channels, and 3 boxes

Good deal

Went to a party last night for a friend's 40th birthday and one of the other guests was Brian Setzer! I included a You Tube clip for those of you that are saying, 'Who is Brian Setzer?'

Saturday on my way over to MAPerfomance I blew past a guy in a 2nd Gen TL-S, silver with a lip kit as I went through the tunnel on 94. He continued on 94 and I got off at 394.

I was letting my fiance drive my TL last night. She's driven it once or twice before, and she's trying to get the hang of driving stick. She'd kill it a few times and a couple of times it would chug forward, and there was this terrible "clacking" sound coming from the engine.... was that the valves slapping against something or... what was it?

Ok, so she is lugging it and it starts 'clacking', could you identify the clacking sound a little better? Have you checked your oil? Tranny fluid?

It could just be that at such a low RPM, your engine was trying to keep running and you got a bit of valve lash. Have you heard it since then?

No biggie then, it's normal for an engine to make a lot of racket when it is trying to stay alive. If it does it more often than that, then you have a problem and need to have it looked at.

ok. i know it's not a 'good' sound, but wasn't sure what the racket was all about. the best description I can come up with would be is, it sounded like two pieces of flat metal slapping against each other. I never heard it in my RSX... strange. Different engine/tranny though.

I have to confess that Erin has, on occasion, driven Scooby. It doesn't happen often but I encourage it because I am trying to get her to start autocrossing with me.

speakin of springs. i've been wanting to drop mine about another inch. but there's so much crap around the coilover threads that i'd have to remove the coilover from the car, clean them and adjust. too much work

So it's official... I now have insurance on my car, so I can drive it legit. Think I'm gonna ride to work tomorrow in style.

And I was a little worried, since American Family started using your credit score to determine my rates. Cause people that can't pay their bills are shitty drivers too ya know.

Well, My insurance is $88. It actually went down about 20 bucks.
