Jeez, I'm out of it for a little while, everyone gets delusions of grandeur!
I guess I am in. Josh giving Razzi a hard time really motivated him I've never seen that many posts in that short of a time from him. Well hopefully it will be nice that weekend and I guess I'll have to spend my Friday getting the car in halfway decent shape.

Damn you guys sure post a lot! That was a lot to read on a monday morning at work.....maybe i should consider checking in on the weekends, huh?

As for my springs, I'm going to try and get them installed before the meet.....mainly because I'm getting anxious and I'm impatient.....especially when I have toys that I want to try out!

Just noticed your signature says you have painted wheels.....I'm looking forward to seeing those, because I'd maybe like to do that with mine, but I'm not 100% sure on the process.....I don't really want to scuff up the rims so the paint will adhere, only because I'm afraid I won't like the painted look.

got good news and bad news

good news, VTEChump just replied to me. he's in

bad news, my brother pitted my front lip vs a curb. outcome: scratched paint, broken brackets and torn splash guard. also a centimeter gap between lip and bumper. looks ghetto as hell. havent tried to jack it up yet.

you know how everyone trashes their first car? seems like everyone else is taking that privilege away from me

hahaha, lightning? thats sick!
I have deff. given my car to much of a beating in the winter, i kinda feel bad for it..
Me and my moms boyfriend are going to be installing my springs this upcoming sat., so they'll be all done in time for the meet!
and i'm starting the enormous project of cleaning a dirty car.. the outside is damn near impossible with how dirty it is.. the inside is gross too, so i'm pulled out the mats, and am going to have everything perfect by the time of the meet...

and i think i want to get this comptech sway bar, the guy is asking 180 shipped, i'm thinking i might do it?

a lot of ppl say painting the rims are ricey and get the rims but good thing that acura does have good looking OEm wheels. And i live in an apartment, chances of having the rims jacked is high. Another advantage of painting rims is u can always switch color.....

all u have to do is sand it down, primer, paint whatever color u want for 2 to 3 layers, then at last, clear coat. If u have the same rims in ur avator, it should be easy since it has less spokes.Recommaned to do in the summer tho .....

well, u will have the chance to see my wheel at the meet in person, but some painted has chipped off tho

I may bring Matt and Charles, both autocrossers that run S2Ks. Charles' car is sick, 315 slicks on the back, 295 in the front, loud as hell exhaust, huge CompTech supercharger, fast as all get-out. Charles might come to the F&F 4 showing on Friday as well.

Wonder where luke has been. We better get him and his Firebird/TransAm/GM car out here before GM falls into a sinkhole and we never see any of them on the road again.

I can see some chinese version - although it would have to have some engrish translation in there. Ji-Hem or something.

BTW.. I've mentioned it before, but there are lots of new people. Check out http://www.engrish.com/ Funny shit

I also received an invite to MAPerformance's Fast and Furious 4 Private Showing. FYI the date/time on the invite states: Apr 4, 2009 1:30 AM. Since I want to see it sooner, a couple buddies of mine and I are going to Kerasotes Inver Grove Heights ShowPlace 16 to see it at 12:01AM. If anyone else wants to meet up there at that time let me know...

The invite I saw has the showing starting at 11:30 with BBQ and dyno starting at 7 at their location. Maybe they are planning on having two exclusive showings?

Cadillac CTS-V, 2006 for under $30,000. Damn economy.

http://cars.startribune.com/2/129/1G...ource=featured

I'm jealous ever since we saw that one at the dyno. That and that Turbo + SC'ed Cobra that was putting 700+ HP to the wheels and looked completely stock. For those of you that missed it - it was awesome. They had problems dyno'ing it because with 3 guys in the backseat, it kept spinning its tires as soon as the supercharger kicked on. Only would register 700 some odd horse cause of the tirespin.

You want the 2009 model anyway, about 100 more HP.

I would say that if you need the address, send a PM to Takata18 and he will let you know where he lives. I don't want to post it up here without his permission, but it might be somewhere in this thread.

That & more I have a lot of LED work done on my car... If the meet does go into the evening I won't be able to showoff my StreetGlow Lightstrike 3 Million Color LED Undercar Kit since my front tube broke during this winter

I tried sending a PM to "Takata18" & it came back saying user not found. I also tried using the Search Members and typed in "Takata18" & it came up w/ no matches...
