Sucks that you are having to sell the TL, but I think you are going to have a hard time at that price. Right now you can get a really damn good deal on a new car, in addition to that price being about $2k over book.

Six months ago used cars were going for $2k back of book, and that was before the Carpocalypse! Put it out there for $16 and you'll probably get some people interested.

(I also understand about loans and what-not, and that sometimes you have to get x for a car to move on)

Used to see this guy everyday on the way to school when I was in high school. He looked like Jorge's younger brother if he had one.

Question for you guys.....

I got a quote to install my eibach springs from a shop and they said $90 an hour and I think it's about a 3-5 hour install time depending on the guy. Anyone know of something cheaper or should I just go with it?

Get Razzi on the spring compressors, one or two other guys on each corner, and you'll only be out the cost of beer and steaks.

Are you the one with the red subaru? If so, I think you've met a few of my friends from mnsubaru. You know a guy with a newly acquired forester?

I met a bunch of guys and girls associated with MN Subaru at the Hopkins Chipotle a couple of times, I think one of them has a new Forester, but we are always inside and not looking at the cars. Maybe once it gets warm?

I'll be at MAP for the F&F4 screening though.

I find out next week if I get anything at all. With all of the layoffs that have been going around, I will be happy if I get a free soda.

I'll be at the F&F4 showing with them too! Maybe sporting new tires and installed springs..... I think we're planning at meeting at BW3 before hand for a couple beers. Interested?

Right there with you guys on the layoff thing.....has me a little worried, but for some reason not enough to slow down on the spending....hmmmm.....could be a problem I suppose, but gotta have fun!

Figured you lived in the golf course area or club west. I'm sure I've seen you before. I'm at school right now but I'm going home to get my car for the weekend so I'll let you know

My dad just got my mom a new camry either a year or two ago so I'm not sure when the lease is up. But I know i've talked him into liking TL's and he wanted to just buy a kind of old but still new TL for my mom when the lease was up on the camry instead of leasing another car. He's out of town right now but he'll be back home tonight so I'll ask him about it.

I think we need to do Jorge's springs first this spring and then we can get to work on everyone else's stuff. His should only take a few hours since we would be swapping out shocks and springs together.

I see you guys are setting up some sort of meet soon. Can anyone point me to some details on when, where, time?

SixSpeedLuxury: Sorry to see your selling your car. If you were selling a few months ago I would have bought yours. I was looking for a 6mt. Anyways, goodluck with that.

Just an FYI, but Elite Autosport, in Blaine, quoted me about $350 to install springs on my Accord.

Funny, cause I was thinking the same thing......I'm sure he wouldn't mind a whole bunch of Acura's showing up to his place though. I've hung out with him a couple times and he was all about Acura man!

I'd say just plan it up. If Takata has something else going on, there's always my place as a backup. I've got a cul-de-sac so we can kind of spread out if needed. I've also got a couple jacks and some basic tools so we might be about to knock out more than 1 car at a time.

But I'd rather it be a Jorge's if that's what the plan was.
