it's sort of an alley right behind his house, but bigger, 2 and a half car wide, and his driveway should fit 4 cars if george has his baby in the garage

it should be a fairly easy job that almost any shop can do. i dont think your car should have any rusted bolts. just torque some bolts off, fit it in and torque some bolts on.

i dont think we have any lifts so it's gonna be a jack lol

cat back is super easy, me and a friend did it in around an hour, and this was a 16 year old and a 14 year old who never had done work on a car before, luckily his dad had a shop and air wrenchs for some of the tougher bolts, 10 years of MN weather=serious underbody rust

i found one for 3 dollars cheaper
and there is 2 in junkyards in MN, or at least 2 that have usable front bumpers.. they are asking 350 and 450 though

yup i agreed with u. Last time when replacing the rear end link, the rust was bad, and the bolt stripped when removal. has to hand cut it with a saw. Damn took forever...so i assume for the same for the bolt.

any cheap local shops suggestions??

I only goto a shop out in Blaine - North Country Tire. Although my neighbor has a friend that is big into cars, and I guess he's got a lift and all the computer equipment and such. He just had his truck in to get a misfire fixed that Goodyear charged him $300 for and still didnt fix it.

I could possibly get his number for you if you wanted - he will supposedly do it for half what a shop would charge. I might give him a try next time I need something. Only problem is he lives in Ham Lake. Fine for me, but it kind of depends on which side of the city your on.

Since I am so pumped and have been waiting a long ass time for the Fast & Furious to come out, I am going to the midnight screening on 4/3. Since I am new and don't know anyone on here, I was wondering if anyone would want to meet up before the movie and roll on over to the theater?

As of Friday, 3/27/09, I need a new rear bumper. It seems like a lot of you guys need new bumpers too. I plan on eventually getting a full body kit, but I have other modifications I am going to do first; thus, I am only going to get a rear bumper for now. The rear bumper I am leaning towards getting is: http://www.andysautosport.com/acura/...i00127064.html.

Question time
1) What do you guys think of this bumper?
2) Should I get a new factory bumper and not aftermarket?
3) Would you recommend any other rear bumper?

Thanks in advance!

I say hold off on that bumper its a little too ricey for me. But I don't know much about what kind of CL bumpers, lips, or bodykits there are out there.

Modern auto is having a showing of FaF on friday night, at 10:30, i think thats our best bet for a place to go, it costs $8 to get in, unless you bought something from them within the last year, then its free.

That's a whole lot of bumper. I say skip it and get another factory bumper with a lip kit, it'll look a lot better.

Got the brake fluid replaced in the STi today with some hi-temp ATE Super Blue DOT4. Brake pedal is nice and still now.

Also started working on my launch for this season, I got one that went well, but I waited too long to shift into second and ran right into the rev limiter, so the getaway wasn't so good, but the AWD burnout was pretty sweet!

it's a little out there but rock it if you wanna. just dont get those gay 20 dollar mufflers they got in the picture. if you buy a new bumper you gotta get a lip kit, for your whole car....costs a lot. i think ronjon makes CL kit and it's pretty clean. he might even sell just a bumper, vendor on here

sounds like MAP for the movie, anyone else interested?

My exhaust is on the agenda, I may have some other parts to mount up at that time as well, I will have a sway bar, new end links, and an air filter to install if they all get here in time.

Usually that means there is some BBQ happening and lots of car talk.

there are a lot of grocery stores within minutes of george's house. if we're short something, it'll be an excuse for me to ride shotgun in your TSX. it's not a big deal.

we'll be chatting, talking about stuff, installing mods, then probably go cruising to test out those mods

I think that we should really wait for Jorge to tell us what time he wants us all descending upon his crib. I may be heading over a bit earlier than everyone else so that I can get everything set up for putting on the exhaust and any other parts I have at that point.
