You know, I think half the time when they pull us over for our tint, I actually think they are looking for drug dealers and such. Just because we have a nice looking car, they think we are BAD people. First thing they asked me was, "Is this your car?". Made it sound like they thought it was stolen at the time, but actually I guess they were checking to see if it was borrowed. Maybe? But yeah, catch the real bad guys that are shooting people and actually doin' drugs. I got lucky as I got no ticket, but it may only be a matter of time.

I was on my way home a couple of weeks ago and the Hampton cops had the road blocked off. They was doing license and insurance checks but they also had a tint reader machine. I even heard them say to check my car but for some reason she just told me to have a nice day. I guess i got lucky cause yes my tint is illegal, not really dark but we all know how anal Va is with its laws.

Just in case you guys were wondering about what was actually legal in VA, this is straight from the DMV: (for passenger cars)
WINDOW - PERCENTAGE OF LIGHT ALLOWED
Windshield - No Tint Allowed
Front Side Windows - 50% light passing
Rear Side Windows - 35% light passing
Rear Window - 35% light passing
Reflective tints or tints that are red, yellow, or amber in color are also illegal.
You can get a little bit more with a medical exception, but even if you go through all that hassle, you don't gain much ground at all..

Hey guys,
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I have been around much since the holidays (losing my grandmother who was basically my mother to me took it's toll) I hope everyone is doing well and hope to see you guys throughout the site. It was great meeting some of you back in early december and can't wait till we do it again! I got the memorial day car show marked on my calendar!

I hope to see you at the Memorial Day Car Show. If you decide to go, be sure to post to the "Memorial Day Car Show" thread in the clubs and meets section. (We are using that section as a make-shift preregistration to help guage the number of competitors and guests we are bringing in from acurazine.)

HIN is definitely a lot of fun to go to and there are some ridiculously nice cars, but I don't feeling like driving 3 hours to go there and then 3 hours back, and I am definitely not getting a hotel just go to a car show. Pizza sounds pretty damn good anyway!!

as some of yall know that i bought an A4 after i totaled the TL... hers a lil pic not much done just lowered it so far and wheel shopping rite now .... ill prolly come out to the pizza joint and meet up with some of yall if u guys dont mind a euro showing up on the scene lol.... hopefully i will decide and have new wheels by then

I've been snooping around at some Audi's lately too. There's a VW forum that has some S4's for sale in the $20k range...man I would love to have one of those. And trust me, I really thought about it, but I am working on buying a house, and I don't have any reason to get rid of the TL.
I don't mind a Euro being there, but are you sure you can keep up?

believe me jeff that 2.0T has plenty of kick u might even get to run it to see how it compairs lol i know for a fact ill out handle any tl hahaha
and yeah i know MIKE and yeah his vette is deff bad ass alwyas loved it and love it even more after the convertible... lol he was deff talkin bout me!!
