Just wanted to let you guys know that I started another thread for the meet at the pizza place, this way we can kinda determine how many people will be showing up. Here is the link.

Ya know Mike...I just noticed that you have 2 pics og 3G TLs on your flyer and no 2G TLs, what's up with that?! Just kidding man...I know, if I'm gonna complain, I could have made it myself. It's cool, I just felt like giving you a hard time. What program do you use to make the flyers by the way?

I can't say that I have but would not mind seeing it. I don't get around here as much as I used to since starting this new job. No more pizza delivery. Did you invite him to the meet on the 19th of April? I will be there.

Okay.. MAYBE I was showing a little bit of favoritism since I own one. But.. I was also just using pics that I already had saved to my computer. (back to that whole time issue)
In regards to the programs I use for the flyers. It really depends on what I am trying to do and what I am starting with (photos/graphics/both/etc.), it also depends on which one of my computers I have available to me at the time. If I am on the road, I am limited to using what is available on one of my laptops. On my towers at home I have some different software. Corel Paint Shop Pro XI does a great job and has a lot of flexibility but MS Publisher is a pretty versatile program as well.. just not nearly as many features.

Hey does anyone know someone in VA Beach with a Gold/Beige Acura RSX with a big wing on the back? I was on my way back from taco bell and I saw him in front of me at the light at Kempsville and Indian River Rd. He passed the car in front of him in the right lane and I blew past both of them in the left. Unfortunately I went by to fast to get his attention and I had to make my turn onto Indian Lakes Blvd. (sorry.. I was distracted by the chalupa screaming my name.. I did the best I could)

FYI.. The UPS store is running a special on color copies for 35 cents. A great way to draw people to the acurazine group is get them involved in our next two meets. Save the 300dpi files to a disk or thumb drive and get those flyers printed for the April meet and the Memorial Day Car show so you can stick them to every Acura you see. If they show up or not at least you tried. If you can personalize it.. add your phone number or email address if they have questions.. or better.. just chat with them if you get the chance.

Imagine ALL of the attention that I would get with THOSE cars parked in THAT driveway!!!

No, can't say that I know that person. Last time I dyno'ed my car I saw an RSX there that was putting down 310 to the wheels. That car was sick, but it looked pretty close to stock.
I saw a BMW 540i last week when I was getting on the highway and I was trying to merge so I got on it. He thought I was trying to race. Long story short, he took off and I followed suit, and blew by him. And he still had temp plates on it! I wouldn't pay that much money for a BMW...they start at well over $40k I think. Now just to see if I can keep up with a 3G TL-S

With your list of mods, I wouldn't doubt it. The 3G TL-S is no super muscle car by any means but she sure is fun to drive. Between the audio mods and my work stuff, I have several hundred extra pounds in my trunk, but if you ever want to line them up I'm game . (just don't tell my wife )

They are pretty damn quick though. I like the luxury and the speed though. I wouldn't want a muscle car as a daily driver though...I don't think many of us Acura owners would. Like you were saying, spending a lot of time in the TL isn't bad with all the features it has. Don't get me wrong though, I do drive it like I stole it most of the time. Maybe when the timing is right, we can line them up. I'm in no hurry to find out, but I am curious.

I am hoping that wheels/tires will be my next step after I get my tint done and tidy up the audio a bit more.
Are you going to hit the Memorial day car show with the AZ crew?

Hey diamond,

I'm deciding between these same wheels (RJ Redlines) or a set of sevas s22. You can't go wrong with the RJ's though. I'm living up in Jersey and the roads up here are friggen ridiculous. I don't want to sound like an advertisement but I have a set of RJ Inspyres on my tl-s right now and I couldn't be happier with them.

whoa.. I can't believe you posted that just as I was on the phone with RonJon. Thats friggin creepy.
I decided to shell out the extra coin for the devotion t3s because they still have the sporty look but also maintain the elegance and class of the Acura (sort of what the TL-S is all about)

I hear what you are saying about the jersey roads.. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh (GO PENS!!!) So I know all about sh!tty roads. Fortunately Virginia doesnt have to deal with nearly as much road salt.

Evader...what RJ's do you have on your car right now? If they're Inspyres and fit a 2G and you wanna sell them...let me know.
Mike, as for tires, I recommend tirerack.com or discounttire.com. I know, it seems like it would be dumb to get tires online and have them shipped but that's what I've done with my last 3 sets of tires and it worked out well. Just make sure to check prices at local shops like Firestone and see if they can do it cheaper. When figuring cost, be sure to include cost of tires, shipping and mounting and balancing...then compare that to a local shops price. I also like the online places because you can read all the reviews on the tires and tirerack rates them.
Congrats on the wheels BTW...nice choice.

Thanks Jeff... I am going to have the local Firestone joint slap on a set of the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions. This is just the right time for me to take a road trip.. I need to get out of town because when my wife sees the credit card statement she is gonna be like ...then I'm gonna be like !!!! (that was just for you 'ballin' )

Evader, I read your post again and saw that you put you have Inspyres on your car. If you wanna sell them at some point let me know, and if I have the funds, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands in they are the right size/color I am looking for.

I have used that method the as long as I can remember. I get mine put on at the Honda dealership. Surprisingly, they are less expensive than the tire stores on mounting and balancing.......

There is a place in chesapeake called finks. They are great and specialize in mounting rims and tires. They have a machine that wont scratch your rims. They mounted and balanced my 20's when I ordered new tires online. They also had the best prices compared to everybody else that I called and they were one of the only places that had a machine for 20's and their service was great and had my car ready in no time
