You can't save in race. You can leave your PS2 on for days or let the AI(B-Spec)do all dirty jobs for ya. BTW, there are THREE 24 hours races.

btw i was wondering if i remember correctly in GT3 the formula 1 cars was kinda like a treat/surprise or whatever you want to call it.. do you think GT4 will have something like that and if so what? nascar cars ? cant really think of anything other than f1 cars.. maybe a certain car company?

I've never driven an SVT Lightning before, like in real life - but damn, it handled pretty much like a car, during the Sport Truck race I had to race it in... I mean, I was expecting it to feel all big and bulky, and not handle too well. It handled quite well. I wonder if the actual truck handles quite well, like, not too different than a sports car, or if Polyphony didn't do their homework...

 

well they do have the Delorean... maybe there is a secret mission somewhere in the game where you have to hit 88 mph within a certain distance before the road ends...

 

So what's the advantage of winning in Bspec mode? Would a win in Bspec count towards a gold in the race?

yes.. the advantage is you can run the race at 3x speed and save a lot of time. however, it can be tricky, so its not like a cakewalk, unless you use a really fast car that outclasses the AI cars... basically the game drives for you, so you can do other things if you want while your car is racing... such as eating, lol.

 

SOME Cruzers are not compatible with PS2... I had a link with my post that listed the incompatible ones. Lucky for you, you have one that is compatible.

Last time I checked, you need at least 7.5 million to buy them all.

 

Holyfuck! I found out there is a DIFFERENT TEST CAR in test S-16 other than our Sauber C9 in NTSC-J version! No wonder why you guys got the S licence so quickly...

how do you get the photos of the car when they are driving around?

 

I'm not here to brag or anything...lol but I bought one of those Black Mazda 787B from the used car market. I really like the car...the black is sooo cool compared with the original color

 

Go to any of the tracks in Original Circuits, World Circuits, Dirt/Snow circuits, and/or Driving Park in GT Mode and then click photodrive, then just drive around the track and when your done watch the replay, and hit SELECT when you see a picture you like...or you can do a race, save the replay, watch the replay in Replay theatre and again, hit SELECT when you see a nice picture you want...

 

the car we had to use for S16 is NOTHING compared to the C9. I wish I got to use that instead. Where do you win the C9 anyways?

damn those are bad ass. I definitely need em. I notice you have 70 mil, did you use any cheats (such as Gameshark) or did you accumulate that much... if its the latter, damn.

I just wish I don't miss em when they "show up" in the used car lots... it's my understanding other desirable cars also show up in the used car lots, and then disappear, and you may never see them again. Cars such as the Corvette Grand Sport....

 

umm... how is this bragging? It's a stinking game, not like you're buying these cars in real life. ... if you had all these cars in real life and came on here posting pics and saying hey look at all the cars I got - that's bragging.

LOL yeah.. that and the Toyota GT-One... the R390 road car showed up in a race yesterday (Supercar series ). Just seeing it on the lineup had me .. lol. I guess I'm still in the earlier stages of the game cuz I was able to own the R390 with my S7 without much trouble.

In other news, entered the Supercar series race at Midway yesterday, and noticed the A-spec pts were 83. I'm feeling a mixture of and ... looked at the lineup, didn't see anything strikingly fast (that I knew about) - just some normal supercars. Race started, after the first lap, I'm in 1st place. I'm thinking, ok, just keep this up, no problem. Yeah there was a reason it was 83 A-spec pts. Because after the 2nd lap, Cadillac Cien came up from midpack and just fricking OWNED me. It was towards the back of the pack, all laying low.. it didn't start passing and move up to 1st until mid-race... I think the programmers did this intentionally to make you feel like you're winning... damnit..

 

crap....lol.....hmmmmm i always want to focus on cars that are light and handle well. Power mods are usually last for me but the game makes it impossible to compete with high HP cars.

 

All I have to say is DAMN THIS GAME.

My productivity has gone to shit this weekend, my gf is pissed (would happen anyways), and I can't stop playing for some reason. Oh well.

 

I played ALL DAY yesterday. wtf.

yea....def. The game is like heorine....ugh. I finally put it down last night and haven't played today. Finally picked up books and started getting back to reality. There needs to be a GT4 support group.
