bought and modded an s2k last night. Tranny, flywheel, clutch, HLSD, driveshaft, stage1 weight, chasis reinforcement, suspension, exhaust, brakes, ECU. 265hp. Raced in the professional clubman cup and whooped on some cars while still getting 105 ASpect points. I love this car.

My Black 787B pumped out 763hps AFTER oil change.
Catalog spec of the brand new 787B(Renown 787B that is) was 700hps. But I knew that catalog specs arent accurate, so I bought the car. It turned out that it had 803hps. That's BEFORE oil change.
So, theres difference of 40hps....which is quite big IMO.

From what I've read, if there is any "ultimate car" in this game, it's the Mercedes Sauber C9 - the prize car for the Formula GT Championship.
This may also be personal preference, though, but I have seen some vids of this thing in action, and the thing just hauls and handles like a dream.

Went through 12341234 pages but scrounged this up from one of the posts regarding unlocking arcade cars. Looks like Srika was right. Are there tracks to be unlocked?
I have a 100% and it is totally irrelevant. To get all the cars available in Arcade mode you need to have bought them or won them in GT Mode. There is initially a number of cars available so you don't need to get all the cars.

I don't know whether the glitch is still there in the American but out of the 710 cars in the Japanese version (obviously higher for the American version) you could only use 708 of them in Arcade mode. The two missing cars were the Fiat Panda and the Sileighty. I presume that as it is not classed as a Nissan the Sileighty got left out. I have no idea why the Panda was excluded.

Did you have GT3? If so, transfer 100k credits from it. If not, run Capri Rally 2 under Special Condition events, a few times, win the Toyota RAID Rally Car, and sell it. Do this a few times until you get some cashola going.

I completely suck ass at this game. I got an rx7 and beat the sunday cup and the first 3 races in the FR, but now I can't beat anything else. Since I can't win any more races (85 rx7 vs 03 m3...gee) I can't win any more money, since I can't get money I can't get a better car.
What the hell should I do? Are there any easy ways to get $$? Can I win Capri Rally 2 with an old rx7 (320 hp or so, stage 1 turbo).

after you get the CLK-DTM Touring Car and mod it to the max, run the Deutsch Touring Car Championship in European Events in Bspec mode - it takes about 10-15 minutes to complete at 3x speed - you get like 20k or 25k per race, and then 100,000 for winning - and then you win the CLK-GTR, sell for 750k. Honestly I racked up like 3mil within like 45 minutes of play using this technique, while I was watching some TV or surfing ACL. I mean Acurazine.

The best way to earn money is to B spec the European Touring Car Championships. 15K a race and 75K at the end. The prize car is the CLK race car, or something like that, sell it and get 780K, repeat as much as you like. I made a quick 2 million in about 15 minutes doing this.

i have a question. in b-spec mode can i just let the game go by it self in a enduraance race. right now i'm in one and i have it at 3x but everytime i pit it kicks me out of it and waits for me to say ok to the pits then it goes back to live mode. is there any way i can change this so that it will stay at 3x and do it's own thing with out me having to be involved in it.

i had a question about b-spec you know how some of the races are really long? what about issues of pitting and stuff will it automaticaly pit when the tires get really bad and low of gas or are you gonna have to be there and manually tell the guy to pit or just set it for him to pit after every lap?
