Man, I know I'm late to teh Caddy Cien party....but does anyone find that this car is SERIOUSLY bouncy and stiff? I've literally bounced off the road a few times....

Wide body car @ rally races? lol

Lightweight + great handling is the key, RX-7, NSX-S/Zero/R, Evo, STi etc. are recommended for Citta di Aria.

uhm, initially, no. Try and racing with it the first few laps is like learning how to drive for the first time. It adds to the fun factor and also it mimics real life so once you learn the relationship between steering input and car action you can drive at the limits much better = better laptimes....easier? no.....better fun, better driving results yes....

 

It is easier to drive, When you take a high power RWD car on a tight city track(like Paris or Hong Kong)you can see the differences.

 

u think it's easier? how? you have to turn the steering wheel alot to get it to turn the same with a controller the movement is only a few MM.

 

Well, I had some hard time controlling those RWD cars with the controller in older GTs. With the steering wheel everything is much smoother. If you have troubles using the wheel, you may need more practices.

 

Actually, I used the controller to play the US GT4 a bit in my friend's home yesterday. I couldn't even win the Sunday Cup with the Integra Type-R...

 

Wow they made it harder. I noticed how they made the turning more real. I have to re-learn this game completely. Even the tracks look different too me with these awesome graphics. I had to turn off ASM on Arcarde mode too.

Finally got the Super license.........it only took me 5 hrs. The Nurburgring and Chamonix were a pain in the ass. Glad its all done.

your best bet is to win (and use) the Minolta Toyota racecar - get it at the El Captain 200 Miles endurance event.

 

I was very curious about these too... after doing some research over @ GTplanet, I found that there is no way to do this in the game. People did do it using Photoshop and some skillz. I still don't quite understand how they get the same exact angle and viewpoint for the shots....

nice, i played GT2 so many damn times, im ready for a change. GT4 is gonna be insane. i cant wait till spring break where i can play it for 5 hours a day.

what car should i use for the beginner lightweight k class? I bought some used suzuki alto edition car/van/cr-v thing and it only had like 57 horsepower or something. I even put a stage1 turbo kit in there and upped it like 30 hp, but I was still getting spanked.

Anybody else have trouble building up money in the beginning?

 

any one have any tips for doing the snow and dirt races cause i am having a lot of trouble

 

Is there a difference between that one and the black one?

I've only done licenses so far. 2 questions:

1. Can you unlock tracks in arcade mode like in the last 3?

2. Does it have the lists to tell you which car is eligible for the race in like 3?

 

AHH, thanks. Looks like I need to be doing more things in the game. I only have 13% completed, so I can not enter the endurance events just yet.

 

its the same as the black 787, only difference is color.

it seems that you unlock all tracks in GT mode only. However I am not 100% sure since I have only been playing GT mode - I do know this, I have all tracks unlocked in arcade mode. It seems that the way this game is setup, you unlock everything in GT mode (cars included) and then they become available in arcade mode.

and for your final question, yes and no. the game does a good job of telling you what you have to change if your car doesn't meet a requirement such as tires or country of make. However, for certain races it will list certain cars you can use, and then say "etc" - I don't see any way of figuring out what's included in this "etc" group, short of getting in a car and trying to enter the race. This sucks cuz for example, in the Schwarzwald Liga A race in European Events, I bought a 330i and modded it up thinking I needed to do that.... I didn't. After I enter the race, I notice there is an M Coupe in the lineup . Anyway that was annoying. Honestly the M Coupe is not in the same class as the other cars in that race, so that's BS. But they had the Z4 as eligible too so I dunno... anyway.... happy GT4'ing!!

oh yeah - that little requirement. if you're looking for ways to increase %age, try doing driving missions 1-10, and also the special condition races - there are a lot. and enter any manufacturer races you can with any existing cars you may own.
