so I have a 950~hp zonda C12 S and a fully modded ford GT. also i have a 900~hp motul Z. Still no super license. but ill finish the reg little races 1st.

 

I use B spec to make money. Take a crazy car and put it in an easy race at 3x the speed. just do it like 10X. you make a lot of money like that. But let me tell you it is 100x more fun racing in A spec mode. You can also switch in the pits

 

Nice garage. My son and I (mostly him) are at 14.x% completion.

Well, I started by transferring 100,000 from GT3, that gave me some dough to get the RX-7 and mod it. After winning the 350Z LM in All Japan Championship, I raced another series (forgot which one). Then I raced All Japan again, won another 350Z LM - sold it for 318,000. Then I found out you can race the 350Z LM in the All Japan race if you buy Sports tires for it. So, that was a few more quick races, and I won two more 350Z LM's and sold 'em for 636,000. I bought the Saleen and the other cars (other than the prize cars). Got the M3 GTR by winning the M series cup at BMW - used the M5 for that series.

I just tried one B-spec race for fun, while I was eating dinner, lol. It was funny, at first it seemed like it was going great, I was like damn, this is cake. I had the car set to "Push" and "Fast" - all of a sudden the car wipes out, I'm like wtf omg. I set it down to "Steady", lol. It's an easy way to make money, esp if you use the 350Z LM @ All Japan.

Then for fun I took the Saleen out at the Beginner races, it was me in the S7 against Demio and some other econoboxes. It was kind of a funny lineup.

ok anyway, I could write a book on this game, if I don't stop.

 

i want 25% this weekend, and I will get it. Got the component cables coming in for the PS2 today, and I dont have any plans! I also hope to have a super license tonight...

 

bought the Saleen... had some extra cash, wanted to treat myself.

it's great, revs real nice and drives real nice.

 

damn I can't wait to get the Motul Z...

umm... what race did you get it from?

 

I wonder if I can request a weeks worth of my vacation time for next week?

10 race one in Japan. worth less tham the 350zLM but it can be modded to go faster. I B spec races with that fool car to make cash. Steady overtake is the way to go.

I'll have to pick up component cable as well... I'm going home this weekend where there's a HDTV...

hahaha, i wish this game would have came out back in DEC so i coulda played it during christmas VACA. this middle of feb stuff threw a lot of people off i bet.

 

if the Motul handles better than the LM, that is gonna be a crazy car... I think the LM handles AWESOME and is so fun to drive.

i started with a MR-2 and have built up a stable of a Euro R, Nissan Skyline 400R, and Mazda 6 Concept.

its an overall better car. But the point im at in the game now i can only use it for a couple of races. I need to buy a pickup truck and some FF cars so i can unluck the last race in professional league.
I also think i will pick up a lotus elise deally today

 

yeah, i have no idea why it is worth less when you sell it though. Only 289k to 319k for the LM. Makes no sense to me.

 

I'll have to make a note to myself for future reference...

When solid release date is confirmed for GT5, schedule vacation time for following weeks...

haha, i was up late playing too. Autosave kept throwing me off though. I forgot that i cant just buy retard cars, hook em up, and then load right before i got em anymore.

 

To be totally honest, my son had been home sick on Tuesday and Wednesday.... ( note to self: determine if son is really sick. ) and today he is home due to school closing (snow day). So I'm betting he'll be at 20% by the time I get home tonight.

you may be able to use it in more races than you think. when you try to enter it into a race, and it shows some restriction listed in red (meaning the car doesn't meet that requirement) - see if you can mod the car to meet that requirement.

I notice it on the scenes before the race begins. Haven't noticed it on other times... yet.

yeah.. I get that sometimes. It's annoying. It seems to me like the interlace setting on the screen is getting fuxored, or something. I seem to think that this would not happen if you're using one of the HD modes, but I don't know for sure... honestly I think this is a bug in the game. I think its a serious bug.

Do you remember when they issued a free re-release of the GT2 Simulation mode disc because the original game contained so many bugs. I wonder if they might do that with GT4, probably not though... but this interlacing problem seems to be serious. I am going to do some checking over at GTPlanet.net now...

 

i will be playing it on HD later today, so i will fill you on to see if "shaky screen" is still there. I hope it isnt.

apparently it happens on any tv, HD or not.... reading through for solutions.... apparently you set the graphics mode to "interlaced", and it doesn't happen anymore... but I dunno if that will work on a non-HD tv....
