If you don't see it, check back there later, it will show up. Some reports indicate it shows up after 10-20 (game) days playing the game...
Bought the SRT-4 neon after getting the 100K credit from GT3. I was racing it at the vegas drag strip, but the best time I could do was 14.5 with exhaust, intercooler, chip, and tires. I didn't understand it. Practicing the lauch is pretty important i guess.
Oh and why the hell is the M3 75K?

yea launching FWD in this game is way different. You need to stay on the gas....but the coolest part is the modulation of the accel via the pressure on the button
GT4 ownz me.....

yes that's me, precision race driver. however, I must admit I did hit some walls with the 350z @ Cite D'Aria. In fact, I went in really hot once into this narrow alley and totally grazed the wall(s) for the entire length of the alley.
and I thought to myself... "now I know what it feels like to do what ClutchPerformer does"...

I need to get the component video cable so I can play in 1080i @ 60fps. I saw some pics comparing the 480p to the 1080i and it blows it away! I'm just using S-video right now.

The 1080i is a simulated HD mode using upscaling - PS2 does not output true HD. Apparently GT4 in 1080i mode is 1240 x 960. Needless to say, I've seen the comparison screenshots of the graphics and it does make a difference. Not a HUGE difference - mainly, graphics look smoother, anti-aliased. Notice the difference in "jaggies" and grittiness in these pics:

honestly though, just from looking at these albeit low-detail screenshots, I feel like I prefer the 480... I like seeing some texture, as opposed to the "smooth" anti-aliased look. But, I will have to arrive at a final analysis after I try the modes out for myself.

ahh, ok. Yeah i did not do that. I assumed that it automatically did the transfer for me.
i think im gonna delete my save game and start from scratch.. cause the handling of the cars and the physics is different in GT3 than GT4 so im gonna redo all the license tests.. not sure thou if you can only transfer credits
cause id rather start off with like a good turbo RWD based car
whoot got one page written time to work on half a page cause its a 3 page essay double spaced

And since both system are ON for all licence tests, you better get used to them. (S-16 at the N-Ring, no kidding. It took me a month and half to pass the fucking test.)

I figured out what my problem is, after some time for reflection. When GT3 came out, I was off work (on the bench) - and had TWO MONTHS OFF before I started working again!!! I cooped myself up in my apt and played GT3 all day for TWO FRICKING MONTHS!!! :banghead:... damnit. I NEED some free time!!!
