I got the Force Pro wheel at Sams club for $109. I have to wait till tomorrow to get the damn game...

 

i got the logitech wheel that spins 900 degrees. the game is f'en impossible with it. if you think the license is hard to win with the controller the wheel is like 10 times harder.

 

how can it be harder thou? isnt it just like driving a real car??

 

its not quite exactly, althought the force feed back is a nice feature and gives you some feel you don't feel the lateral movement of a real car. you don't have a real feel of how much its rotating and how near the limit the car is. you get a little of the feel from the car's reaction on the screen but its just not exactly the same. if you have the wheel already try it out you will see what i mean.

 

Picked it up after work today. I spend about 30 minutes just looking through the cars in arcade mode and messing around with them. The M3 and M5 are SICK!

Game is sweet. Much harder than the last one with just a controller.

 

torque steer is a factor. sooo many nice features; i'm gonna need to cut time in other areas

Turn on the traction control for ALL RWD cars. Especially the LeMans cars which all have 800+ hp in the game without mod.

 

wow....the physics in this game are SO dead on. Shit. i'm re-learning how to drive completely.


ahahah forget about hitting brakes in the turn........bahahahahahah, all i can say is be thankful there is no online play.....we'd all be making asses of ourselves

aaah take of the TCS....TCS sucks ass...Also take off the ASM....wow. Much easier to control.

 

holy shit..... this game is fricking OWNING. driving a 786hp 350z LM car @ Cite d'Aria.... the feel is so realistic..... god this fricking OWNS.... this track is a bit narrow for 786hp tho, lol......

I'm picking up the GT4 and the Logitech GT4 steering wheel/pedals set tomorrow at Best Buy. Apparently in my area, they don't get the game in 'til tomorrow morning, and on the shelves until early afternoon. I played for a few hours at my buddy's house tonight, though. We used his old Logitech wheel and pedals, and it was fun. I can't wait to get my shit tomorrow.

 

does the gt4 wheel actually help when playing? and is it that much better than a controller? and do you know if it'll hook up to a comp? like by usb since it's made by logitech? or is it strictly made for ps2?

I Just dont' see anyway that forza will be able to match the realism in GT4. Physics engine is amazing. If yer a graphics junkie....forza is your thing but if you're a simulator junkie than I don't see how you could ever pick it. All this with lesser hardware.

 

i dunno.. i was playing the demo of forza and the models just dont look right same with PGR

GT3 and GT4 the models look better and more like the real thing IMO

 

The EVO MR kicks ass! It handles like a dream, I recommend everyone get this car.

 

I heard there's a Suzuki GSX-R in the game. Anyone got pics of that? Also, any F-1 cars in this series?

 

I'm gonna pick up the wheel tonight. That's alot of money but this game brings me much joy. Well worth it.
