Get a newer Kenwood headunit that has USB. I just used a USB stick, but phones worked fine too.

I don't have music stored on my phone. I use google music, so I don't think that would work. I also like the idea of controlling Pandora through the head unit, but I guess an aux cable would work just as well. I have heard though that Kenwood head units will have better sound quality than sony. I'll consider it.

Also has to have bluetooth since it's kinda hard to talk on the phone while driving a manual

I have the honda accessory headrest speakers (previous owner put em in. I couldn't have asked for a better previous owner). They sound pretty good. Dunno if there's a way to upgrade the speakers inside them, but I haven't looked into it and know nothing about speakers

I want a leather wrapped shift knob like the AP2's have, the stock one just isn't comfortable IMO. But then everyone wants $60 for their used knobs.

Your new shift knob looks good btw.

I have a Sony head unit with Bluetooth capability (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158DSX3...FFBrand%7cSony). That combined with the Modify wired DCI (http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/index.htm) I can control Pandora using the dash controls without the need to plug in the Droid to the headunit.

You can't thumbs up or thumbs down songs or change stations but you can skip songs using the large MODE button. The Modify DCI is an absolute must with an aftermarket head unit. You can toggle between stations in both directions with it (Hold CH and use volume to toggle up or down). Really nice when you have a headunit with 18 presets.

Hows the sound quality? The head unit I'm looking at is the newest version of the one you posted. Also, I do already have the Modifry adapter

I have a 2002. I don't think it matters, though, unless my feeble understanding of S2000 sound improvements is more feeble than I thought--always a possibility.

Huge improvement over stock, although I installed Polk Components at the same time I installed the HU. I've very pleased. I use Pandora via BT about 50% of the time and zero problems. Lots of adjustments in EQ settings. I can really crank the volume with great quality.

Install was easy too.

The reason for selling the car is that my wife and I are buying a house and we've decided we need a 4-door vehicle.
Reasonable excuse

I wish it weren't red, I'd grab it.

Sorry that you have to sell it. When the need arises, I plan on getting an old civic hatch or subaru wagon as a utility beater.

I've never been a fan of red cars. I want a white AP2 with red/black interior. Soon enough...

Red wasn't my first choice either but this was the cleanest low-mileage S2000 I could find locally when I was shopping last year.

White with red/black is also my favorite color. Laguna Blue is also worthy

GPW is nice, but I agree that the LBP is amazing.

Ken you will find the right car soon. I looked for 6 months and went halfway across the country, but now my 08 LBP is in the garage.

Good luck. That's probably the most sought-after combination. They're more expensive, too. I like white, but a lot of them have the tan interior which I don't like. This isn't a tan interior kind of car

Just installed my short shifter. I mean - my new shift knob. Man, this thing lowers it a ton. Feels pretty nice so far. Will have to see whether I mind it being cold/hot at times

i got the blox 490g shift knob. because of the heavy weight, shifting feels so slick.

Today is the "least wonderful time....of the year" for this "car guy".....I put my S into offsite storage today for the first time in my almost four years owning it. One of my Christmas gifts to my wife was to allow her to have her old garage space for the winter. What tore it was that I was the one having to scrape ice and snow from her windows the last three winters, every day. This one move will save me countless hours this winter, when taken cumulatively.

And just so you know.....the S2000 will fit snugly, with an inch or so to spare, into a 10 x 15 storage unit with room to spare on the sides so you can get out of the car.

Luckily, lots of cameras and barbed wire where she's stowed.

Even so.....WAAAAAAAAAAAH! Mah baby! *sniffle*

Make sure you visit her at least once a week to show her that you still care.

Also to make sure no one fucks with it.

I use a JDM Civic Type-R knob...essentially the S2KCR knob. So much better.

I drove it after 5 days of studying for finals...can't wait till spring to detail the TL and S, full wash/wax/claybar!

According to the description of the video, it has no exhaust attached. It's basically just dumping through some open pipes at the moment.

Its in safe mode. RPM cut off at ~5k rpms. I want to know what they did about the starter and whether or not that transmission is stout enough for the torque of the J.
