As a former S2000 owner, I could easily tell it had EPS, and it still doesn't beat a proper hydraulic system. It didn't have the feel as my RSX and 335i.

Apparently it has completely ruined the 911's steering feel

I'd give the Miata an edge verses the S2000 in terms of steering feel. But only a slight one.

To be fair, my wife was violently sick the entire weekend and I attended a wedding and we basically went straight back to Oregon after that. Otherwise I probably would have done a last minute AZ post asking if anyone wanted to meet up.

No harsh feelings for my jarheaded brethren

While true, the EPS on the S2000 is quite responsive . This car steers pretty sharply. It goes where you point it, sometimes too easily. I certainly have no issues with it.

Theres a guy on my street that has one. Appears to be bone stock sans a giant subwoofer in the trunk. He revs at me everytime I drive by.

Couldn't help but notice his two front tires have wire showing through.

People need to watch their tires on these cars. The guy who bought mine had just crashed his AP1 2 weeks after buying it...and now he wanted to buy mine. He said he never checked his old tires. I had NEW all seasons so hopefully he doesn't crash my baby.

Damn I miss her lol, thankfully TL is entertaining enough to drive.

My S as it sits today:

Today, it had the yearly oil change with Honda synthetic, swapped the Rota D2s for SSR Integral GT1s, and got a four-wheel alignment. I've wanted these wheels since I bought my S2000 but had a hard time sourcing a decent set. Very light for 18's, they weigh the same as the stock 16 inchers.

Small small possibility I can get a 2006 Suzuka Blue in great shape.

2006 was the only year it came with a black dash and black door panels. I don't mind the blue seats and carpeting. I'll get some black floor mats...

Going to check it out this week

One thing is for sure with the blue seats - theyre less desirable so they are less likely to be stolen

That said, I liked the blue interior. It reminds me of my first car.

Good point about the seats

I don't mind blue or some blue. I just don't like ALL blue

Went autocrossing today. Stock, this car is set up very well, even with the all-season Bridgestone pole positions on there. Not much fuss getting on the gas coming out of turns, and trail braking does a great job of helping the car to rotate in tight corners. The best thing to improve first is the driver!

Well....

I got a 2006

Suzuka Blue, black dash, black doors. The seats and carpeting are a darker blue than in previous years. I drove it 300 miles back home with the top down the entire way.

LOVE IT

Pics tomorrow!!!

My Elantra has EPS and while it is nice at low speeds (you can palm it when parking), any sort of enthusiastic driving feels like the rack has Novocain in it.

Not bad considering there are some fun mountain passes during that trip
