Hey, 04-05 silverstone like mine, nice pick up! Red seats too! I wish mine had the red seats, but hey, I can't have everything in a used car.

Haha not quite twins, I said I wish I had the red interior. Nothing an upholstery company can't handle down the road though.

It was weird trading it for my TSX with the thought that I'd never see it again, like I was abandoning what was so faithful to me for years. And then I drove home and all my worries went away

I'm autocrossing it for the first time this Sunday and I can't wait! I'll have my go-pro on to record the inevitable spinning out

Hit the local BMWCCA chapter autox last week and 8 of the 21 in Y category were S2000's.

Was 3rd of the S2K clan after starting 7 of 8.

Great car control and learning process.

Congrats but why is there a curb there? How do you get out or is that a double spot with your car behind the s2k too?

yep. the rsx has daily driver duties (at least once i clean the idle valve, replace the clutch, clutch master & slave cylinders, battery, etc ) i'm glad i still have it though - the s2k is brutal to drive on the freeway compared to most other cars.

and thanks everyone i've replaced the shift knob (leather was peeling) with a round CTR knob and ordered new floor mats, but that's it ... i'm keeping everything else stock.

These arrived today. It's just tongue-in-cheek, I do like BMWs but it will be funny to pass the countless bimmers in my area. Not sure whether I 100% like them yet though.

I like 'em but I'm sure it'll result in some 335i or M3 smoking you from a stop light.

yep, although that shouldn't matter with the roof up. It's mostly engine noise.

Yeah, 4k rpm and not much sound insulation mean a very loud ride on the highway. 80 is even worse. I need to upgrade my stereo to help with that

Same here...although mine was almost flawless in every aspect, the damn driver's side door speaker is buzzing and on top of that its the stock stereo...(Honda tape deck...)

Mine came with an old alpine cd player head unit, but I'm gonna get a new one. Any recommendations on one that'll accept tunes somehow from an android phone?

If you get one with a USB port, you should be able to plug your phone into it and play the music through the HU.

This is what I plan on doing. I hope changing out the speaker in each door isn't too much of a hassle, I'm not car audio inclined. Not to mention I would hate to pay for the install because it seems so easy.

Think I'm gonna get a Sony dsx-310btx. Haz bluetooth streaming and pandora support and stuff. Seems cool and I can get one off ebay for 2/3 the price of new, so it's not too expensive either

haha lucky! For some reason, even with the stock HU my dash controls for the stereo are not working...I hope when I install the new HU with modifry's adapter they start working.

I thought the best way to improve the sound system (other than upgrading the HU) was to use the headrest speaker system. I suspect that a sound system improvement may be my next mod.
