You check the small CR sized battery?

If it is in fact dead? Are you going to replace it?

hey its the first time this ever happened - thats why it threw me off lol... I mean usually I see the meter is running down and I know to charge it. But I read that this could mean the lithium battery needs replaced also.. if the battery meter isn't reading right. ok so, thanks.

freak-outs suck, but huge relief when you figure out it was something small.

On a related note... I was WTF'ing becauese I couldn't get my 50mm to AF the other day... then realized I accidentally moved AF to MF due to the way I was holding the camera.

it wasnt a freak-out.. .it was more of a 'bummer'... and not a very sharp one. its just never happened like that before, thats why i thought it was something bigger than just the batteries.

BMW has Chicago on one of their website pages.. I've never seen any European carmaker use Chicago on their site, prior to this.

Save 20% on LowePro when shopping from their website, courteous of NikSoftWare. Use code NIK20, offer ends 31 May 2010.

http://www.lowepro.com/intl

Not sure how much you'll save, normally buying directly sale prices are more than other places to start with.

I'm trying to think of what building that BMW shot could have been taken from. Makes me wonder how that X5 got up there. I could just see walking into work for early morning maintenance.... "Ummm...why is there an X5 hanging from a helicopter?"

the entire foreground is photoshopped. The scene looked a bit odd to me so I consulted with Google Earth and here is what I found - you can easily see that there is no building perpendicular to the river, as it would have to be to have that X5 up there like that. Also, the mere fact that the X5 is flipped, tells us it's photoshopped - it was photoshopped into the flipped image.

Totally missed that the whole scene was flipped.

I kept trying to place the shot from somewhere in the river bend area not to the East. Looks like the photographer of the actual Chicago shot was somewhere in the Trump building.

no, it would not be possible to get that angle from the Trump. I would have to say they'd have to have been (awesome sentence) in that building which appears purplish at the bottom of the Google pic - or the one to the right of it.

Mercedes came to my school once and took pictures for the brochure for the ML.

if they're willing to take pics at a place like riverside, why not Chicago?
