I prefer Flickr, there is actually more restrictions on Photobucket

the only reason why i use photobucket is that, i can use it for animated gif's. other than that i really don't use it since they resize the uploaded pictures.

Anyone in the DC area might want to remember this week is the DC FotoWeek event... it's $7 but you can return for all the talks, etc anytime during the week. If you're at all into photojournalism, it's a must-see.

I don't understand what Yahoo has to do with it, but it's done. flickr seems easier to use.

I think it's one of the 'classic' i.e. legendary 1D cameras and that's why I really wanted to get one. It's a pleasure to use.

picked up a used but like new condition Golf hard traveling case for cheap off Craigslist... it's perfect for lighting gear (stands, umbrellas, softboxes, monolights)

I meant to reply to this last week, but forgot.... The funny thing about this video is... it was made by Sony, to promote their NEX line... and ALL the cameras in the video are Sony. Some people don't understand where Sony's going with this, but I guess it's one (Sony) dept mocking another

so, my partner I shoot with for weddings just picked up a 14-24 for her D800. It's a good thing I didn't go that route - sometimes things just work out for the best.

I have bought a couple used and saved a nice amount on them. And they were in great shape. Bought on CL. Just do your research and also there is a 'vetting' process IMO in terms of the seller - email them back and forth ask good questions to find out whether they are legit and serious - good luck.

Of all of the lenses I have (which is quite a few) only 2 were bought new, the rest were mostly from trusted members (high post count with positive Feedbacks) of a particular forum, and haven't had any problems
