It can be done better and if this is like any of the other nik software, it's going to be real good.

Though CS5 has put a better HDR out, that's still up in the air.

I do as well, but it has it's short comings and if nik ( have you used any of their products??) does it as well as they have their plugins, I see it putting Photomatix to shame.

You know this one was coming (Nikon lens coffee mug)
By [NR] admin | June 3, 2010

When Canon came up with their coffee mugs during the last Winter Olympics, I thought for a moment that they may really have better stuff than Nikon. Today I got my faith back -the Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 coffee mug is “now available for pre-order” on eBay

But wait, there is more – for all you caffeine addicts:the Nikon Lens AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Coffee Cup is also available:

Prices vary, to see all Nikon mug entries on eBay click here.
http://nikonrumors.com/2010/06/03/yo...offee-mug.aspx

Wonder how the build quality is... As I've heard that the canon ones being made aren't so great.

A Nikon coffee Mug?? How original!!

Just got my Canon version and build quality is actually better than I originally thought. Although the rubber grips move around too much for my liking. But its not like these are made by Canon or Nikon anyway.

the camera and lens fell off a cliff, hit some rocks and bounced into the sea.
Yeah, that would do it.

damn, harsh!

in other news, I shot an all-day motorcycle show for a not very well known tuner magazine in February, after responding to an ad on Model Mayhem. I was told I would get $500, to be paid 60 days after the event (because this is how magazines pay). Yeah well I haven't got jack yet. It was HARD work too, I mean it was a tiring full day of shooting. And they wanted DVD's right there, so I had to process the RAW files on the spot with my old laptop - it took like 3 hours just to do that, at the end of the night. I have been e-mailing my contact asking when I will be paid, and there is no answer.
