Acura is dead and there is nothing that I can think of that could possibly revive it. After this I don't even have hope for the NSX.

According to Honda Sales EVP Dick Colliver, the face being shown on this car will spread to the rest of the lineup as the TL and TSX sedans are redesigned later this year.

BTW, the 6 speed, 3965 lbs GS350 AWD (which IMO is a closer competitor to the RL) gets 18/25. With 303HP and 275lb/ft.

believer it or not, the failure comes due to the headlights shape where the headlights meet the fender panel, thats all. I like the grille, and up close it shows a very modern look that may grow on us. Can't wait toi see one with 19" wheels and a kit lowered.

The 5 point Acura grille has always been a bad design. It's always limited the front end designs.....but I never thought it could get worse...then came the MDX, RDX...and now the RL

They failed. They spent alot of money on a MMC and high hopes of more sales figures, but when the average person has a hard time differentiating between a 28k accord or the 50k RL they need better designers. Do they honestly do studies of blind people or do they go out in the real world and see what people like?? I hope the complete redesign is 1 or 2 years away. this thing is going to sell less than the previous design. I sure hope the TL and TSX arent so piss poorly designed and executed.

if I would have been at the auto show during the unveiling I would have started laughing uncontrollably. They went backwards with the design.

It looks much more aggressive than the 05 RL but it now looks like the 8th gen accord instead of the 7 lol.
I do like the interior upgrades though, the steering wheel and the shifter look great! Also the heating and cooled controls look pimp.
I kind of like it actually...

I'm so dissappointed...
The previous generation looks much much better than this new thing...There is a lot of ressemblance with the Accord all around, more than there is between a Camry and an Lexus ES....The Accord sedan which it is inspired from looks so much better!

I foresee the RL being discontinued due to lack of sales VERY soon...That's the ugliest piece of shit I've seen since the advanced sport concept...
WTF is acura thinking ?? The Hyundai Genesis Sedan is 100 times better looking for alot less money (and it's rwd to boot)...
