Step on up, get your 2008 RL's, get them while they're hot....the 2005-2008 RL, bland to some, looks great to me. I believe this shape will age well. The new one....I think of the front the same way I did the 7G Accord....fugly.....
I've never seen such near unanimity on this board...and not just on this one, also on others. I'm really sorry, Acura, but this was not a good job on the exterior. The interior totally rocks, though! ( IBT"you don't notice the exterior when you're driving"comment)

that looks ugly, i saw the refresh pics of the RL on TOV. it makes it even more look like the 7th Gen Accord sedan 06-07 version and the back looks like the current Camry. wtf????

seriously. the TSX and TL's are acura's bread and butter.
if they screw up, then they're gonna be in big trouble.
HOPEFULLY, they'll realize that the grille is not a success, and they'll scrap the plans. but as we know...

It's not the grille that's ugly. Look at the grille on the Sports4 Concept. It looks like it belongs there. See the link below:

The problem is putting that grille on the old RL body.
So I still have high hope for the new TL and TSX with this grille as long as the entire design is well integrated.

2. If you put this next to the Genesis before either one came out, I'm sure everyone would have thought the Genesis would be the Acura.
3. The grill was made by the same idiot who put it on all Ford's. (just an assumption but seriously, only a retard would think that looks good on a car)
4. Did they fired all the people who designed the 3G TL or did they all get better jobs because I can't believe that the same people that created that designed THIS
5. I think Honda must have put some Kia people on the design staff for this one.
6. Acura = the next Ford NA.
7. In the end isn't it nice to know any one of us can design a nicer car?
