EDIT: Just saw that you had quoted me...he he, the batmobile, huh...I hope it lived up to your standards...she has some imperfections, but I try really hard to hide them in my picutres with angles and lighting etc...battlescars, what can you do?!

About the filter, no problemo, man...I actually took Swoosh's advice for a thread he found and bought a dryflow filter off a forum member...in addition, I ordered 15' of header wrap, I'll give it a whirl and see what happens. I hope it's long enough to at least do the portion of the intake tube that resides in the engine bay. Figured if I was going to do it, I'd do it 100%!

I don't live in my house...and after most than 3 years of owning her, I have to say it's still a torrid affair, I STILL TURN AROUND AND STARE AT HER EVERY TIME I PARK, STILL PARK FAR AND IN WEIRD PLACES TO AVOID DINGS AND STILL ENJOY TAKING PICTURES ETC. Sorry didn't respond sooner, field checking and meeting up in Punta Gorda today...saw a neighborhood where every house has a garage door big enough to house a plane. And actually has a plane...whole neighborhood had 2 foot tall street signs and stop signs!

I'm seriously blushing, you guys are really too kind. John, trust me, I've been shooting my car and walking backward from every parking space for the last 3 years...your skills captured what I see (kinda like a proud parent thinking their kid is the most gorgeous even when they're average looking... )

hehe thanks, Sean. The funny thing about that side shot is that there are 4 other cars right next to it and I got lucky from where I was standing so that they were all perfectly hidden. If you look real close, you can barely see an edge of Nexson's 4G along the trunk line of Jeremy's car.

Thanks man, I WISH it was in a magazine! I know, I think the 30D camera is a good starter camera but I'll probably end up jumping up to a Nikon D90 or something down the line. The Canon was a good starting point and not too expensive.

Thank Anil, that's saying a lot! I have to admit, I can't stop looking at the pics either...that side shot and the one from the rear looks pretty cool.

Thanks bud...my fiancee' calls the car Dahlia...as in Black Dahlia...thought it sounded pretty cool. But yeah, batmobile is definitely the look I was going for without even knowing it...start with black car, end up with rims that I thought were gunmetal in the pictures and ended up being black...and work with it. Happy I was forced into it cause I love colors normally, hence the blue accents.

About the tails...why not call Simon at unique style racing, tell him you're from Acurazine and that Jeremy or Anil (making an assumption that that's ok with you swoosh) sent you (he should remember us) and see what price he gives you. I promised him I wouldn't share, but I BET you will be very happy with the price.

Don't buy into the hype. Your camera is perfectly capable of pulling off great shots. Remember...90% photographer, 10% camera. Feel free to send me some of the shots you took and I can critique them if you want. I helped moderate a photography forum for a few years a while back, so I got good at analyzing photos. It helped me with my own compositional technique too.
