That is so fucked up omg. I hate cops who have nothing better to do than harass people and not do real fucking work. When I did a ride along with my brother he was nothing like that and he lives in a boring ass town in NC, we only pulled people over for 16+mph and we got another for an expired tag and another with no tail lights (it was night time).

Personally, I was pulled over like 3 months after I first starting driving, 37 in a 25, the guy was super nice and noticed I was nervous/young so he let me go and I thanked him like 5 times lol. Second time I was coming back from NC with my dad and stupid I-95 had a construction zone, WITH NO WORKERS, set at 65mph...I was doing 84...cop also noticed I was young and bumped it down to like 7mph over, luckily it was only $130 and I did a online thing to keep the points off.

I'll reread when i get home but that sucks!

The V1 didn't warn me...he didn't have radar...he was just watching me about a quarter mile ahead driving fast, that's why he didn't know HOW fast and nut check me.

School is still an admission of guilt, unfortunately.

Nothing is as bad as your Tyler!

Anil, I'm surprised that's all that happened to you, bud! You are quite the smartazz...makes me feel better to know it's not just on the interwebz but you're consistent in real life as well! I would have been annoyed too, but I never talk back to cops. I would love to know why he REALLY pulled you over though, that would have pissed me off too.

^^^ i used to get tipped off pretty easy....

with cops i can go a little more longer to get tipped off but just coz he is a cop doesnt mean he owns me or anything....if anything my tax money are paying for his family.....if am at fault gimme a ticket and call it a day....about the attitude on the internet...yes am true to my smartass and badass attitude i dont only do this to impress people sitting on the other side of the monitor....whatever it is, i tell to your face and not behind your back....you might not like it but hey thats how i am....

i got this one ticket which i totally deserved and actually the cop was very very chill as well....

i was on my way back from Tulsa....driving to STL....this was at 2AM

doing 90 on a 75....my radar is pretty sensitive but this time around it started beeping at 4 and went upto 9 within seconds....by the time i hit the brakes, he had me....

him: you were going 10 over the limit
me: yes sir....i apologize....just wanted to get home....
(license and registration and insurance)
him: stay put i will be right back
me: sir before you go....i have a radar detector and it didnt detect your radar signal
him: coz my radar was not on....i do not keep it on like everyone else....when i see someone speeding then i turn it on....so by the time the detector detects the signal, i have your speed
me: that is awesome sir....i deserve this ticket....will slow down.....

he came back and gave me a ticket going 7 over and said "thats what 30 years on highway patrol will do to ya"

now an officer like this i like....pulled me over, gave me a ticket (which i deserved) and let me go....

That makes sense, meng...
You still had balls...telling him about the radar detector. I actually turned mine off! All I needed was this guy to think I was trying to PLAN to live above the law.

^^^ he seemed very chill bro hence i asked.....

i remember asking an officer "Sir, you see a car speeding and the minute they see you they step on the brake and act as if nothing happened....how does that go in your mind ?"

he is like "depends, at times it makes me feel like they must think we are idiots that we will fall for those tricks....and if they do not brake, it makes me feel (at times) they dont respect us....so it depends on the officer and his mood"

then i asked "so Sir what do you recommend i do next time "

he cracked up and let me go.....

Well, that's a very cool officer that had a nice conversation with you!

Did a mod reversal today, I'm SURE I'll get flamed for it, but I don't regret it one bit.

NO sir, you'd be fine with me if it was the CAI, trust me, when I post it up and I'm feeling self confident enough to take the abuse, you'll see.

Veg, my pages are nothing in comparison to your skills...just showed my fiancee some of my mountain biking CONTOUR footage, she got all sweaty and worried... She says Markham Park is MUCH worse than she ever imagined. She worries about me...AWWWW...

Ok, so here's the mystery mod reversal...

J Pipe is out...
I read up on the Marcus thread on the exhaust deal he's got going...he mentioned that the Richie Pipe is what adds rasp, as well as the PCD's obviously (makes it worse)...sure enough, took it out and my exhaust is back to being nice and quiet. A little quieter than I remember but when I get on it, it still sounds sexxxxyyyy...

Had trouble with 2 of the front bolts that bolt to the primaries, for some reason the threaded stud comes out with 2 of them since the nut is frozen in place...no big deal other than not being able to line the holes up and almost cross threading and stipping the hole in the primaries. Was able to use a tap and die set with a channel lock and carefully rethread. This all happened around this time that I'm not on my quest to slow the fk down and deal with this careless driving ticket. I'll sit on the Jpipe for a bit, then probably sell it locally on the BM.

Anyway, flame away...I'm sure a few people will think I'm nuts for taking it off. I definitely feel the car being slightly slower (duh, butt dyno never lies). We'll see.

On a positive note, forgot to mention that on Friday, I went to the chiropractor during work...on the way back, this guy pulls up next to me in a camry..."hey man, that is the NICEST TL I've ever seen (I was thinking, man you ain't be on AZ...my car ain't shITTT)...I'm part owner of a wheel company that is getting off the ground and is out of a warehouse just down the block, would you be interested in being in some professional photoshoots with our wheels?" I said, sure, why not. So he took my number...texted me...$100 for about 2 or 3 hours of my time...and I THINK I get to pick the wheel.

Looks like a bit of a Vossen type of wheel/company as far as rim style and marketing.

^^^ that is some good shit Jer....and dont sell yourself short (i know you dont) but you have a gorgeous looking car....if you dont believe your car is HOT, none of us will

but damn thats a nice offer....they paying you to have professional pix taken of your car and you get to choose the wheels !!! damn....its like the hooker paying you for having sex with her

on the side note, if you have the PCD's installed, you will still hear rasp....the rasp comes from PCD's and NOT jpipe....the understand where it comes from you need to know what rasp is....rasp is your exhaust pulses vibrating in the pipe because they are free flowing.....see my exhaust (2.25"ID true dual) or Inaccurate's exhaust (3" ID single) you will see the exhaust are very free flowing and hence a ton of rasp....

the aftermarket jpipes are very free flowing and hence they "add" to the rasp....if Inaccurate or myself, replace the PCD's with stock cats there will be no more rasp !!! the rasp is coming from the PCD's.....

but if you are not worried about performance as much you could:
1> remove the PCD's and replace with stock cats and loose 20-25whp and have NO RASP
2> remove the jpipe and replace with stock jpipe and loose 10-12whp and still have some rasp at certain rpms
3> keep the pcd's and jpipe and replace your resonator with a slightly bigger one and have no rasp and the keep the power....

Ha ha....
I saw the price of their wheels, even if they gave me a hefty discount, it wouldn't motivate me to spend that much on wheels...now, if I show up to the shoot on 4 doughnuts and a fake tag...then while we're doing rolling video jump onto the expressway and book it home and hide in my garage forever...

lol...
Just sayin...

Thanks fellas...

Forgot to respond to Anil...no sir, I don't have PCD's (sorry if I used that to describe primaries in my other post). I had a stage 3 exhaust mod, and it was fine. Added just the V3 Jpipe and it was raspy but only on WOT around 4 to 4500K...other than that it sounded beast and DEFINITELY made the car feel faster...maybe it's my old age, but I'm good with the oem jpipe for now.

IF I do sell it, Undying will probably have first pick since he PM'd me immediately on it. I'll come up with a fair price that will make the buyer happy and make me feel like I didn't throw too much money away on this. Again, not sure I'm selling it just yet.

PS, John and Sean...finally took the GPS with me to the trails...not the best vid, but pretty cool...added music and an effect to it. Not bad for my first try. I ran out of memory about 30 minutes in...so I just ordered a 32G micro SD rather than the 2G one it came with.
OMG at 2:46 I almost eat it pretty bad trying to be super cool guy and getting a good jump in there...I almost missed the bridge on the left. Also, I used the headband mount and put it under my helmet so it's angled a little too DOWN, I'll probably get a mount one day to put it on top.

Dang, seems like it should have been pretty obvious, huh!?

PS, that video I posted, looks like the effect I added dumbed down the quality and overexposed it a lot. Still pretty cool but I'll probably not post that way next time.

Thanks fellas!
well, the original video you can hear me go "holy cr*p, that was close!"...if you watch it on the first hump of that bridge I jump it pretty good if you look at the shadow.

About the angle, yeah, this was me just putting the camera on the headband mount and putting it under my helmet so aiming it wasn't that great. I'll get a mount and put it aimed a little more "up" so you can see what's coming better.

On a negative note...I've been leaving my attic scuttle hole open since I go in and out of it so often...well, last night while on the computer i thought I heard a "thud"...checked the front of the house...nothing, garage, nothing...then leaving for work this morning...i see the 2 pound plastic cover for an old satellite receiver I had up in the attic...with all the slamming of the garage door to the house...it knocked it down...right on my hood. FK...not BAD, but still...got a nice new ding on my pristine hood...and it's under one of the hood supports...I'll see what I can do tonight.
