I must see a pic of what you are talking about or a close example of your HL assembly. My assembly only has 2 light components. Does yours have 3 of some sort... Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question

Josh, I've turned my OEM foglight (the one in the headlight next to the low beam) into a daytime running light, with the use of a module. That's all there is to it, bud...same as you.

J.

Didn't even make the connection! yay, dolphins! Tyler, is it video time?

I know, it's all that fkn sound deadener fumes heating up in the Florida sun that you're inhaling. That, and newborn baby poop!

Just kidding Josh, but I kept thinking...he's a sharp guy, how come he's not getting it!?!?! Looks like USR will end up making a module too...I actually emailed Simon today to suggest he make a DRL module AND LED bulb that works with it ALL IN ONE!

That would be HAWT!... USR, not so much. Sorry, bad experience Good c/s goes a long way but bad c/s goes further.

Anyways, actually no fumes or smell what so ever on the deadening. I just laid down some more in the trunk area trying to make every attempt to keep the progress moving fwd. I am happy with the results and products used so far. Coming out very nicely if I must say so myself

I assure you, no glue was involved Just a cocky and negligent c/s for a simple and obvious issue at hand. Never again unfortunately, since they do have some sweet product. But with me, its all about principle and how one shines when no one else is looking. You know how it goes J.

I definitely do...
I'm just glad he hasn't pissed me off! I give people a 2nd chance, normally. Could have been circumstantial? I know you had an issue with your decal for the bumper. What was his response? Was he blaming it on how you installed it? Refused to give you a new one?

Yes, it was the bumper decal. And kinda all the above was the problem... Saying I am the ONLY one ever to say it doesn't fit. I sent pics, detailed ones with the cell at angles that can not be denied re:fitment. And still. Then this went back and forward for weeks...YES! Weeks. To finally respond to a refund has been given 3wks later. I was looking for the refund for days! Responding nothing found. He was responding short as if "I did what we had to do no leave me the fk alone"...type attitude. Out of fustration, he sent me a screen shot of the refund IT WASN'T ME!!! He refunded someone else and was all short in communication with me when I was messaging I never rec'd it. WELL THAT IS WHY!!! Finally, refund was directed to me correctly with no follow up message or even a fkn apology at this time. Not even a MAN apology fessin up he fkd up or anything!!! This took approx. 3 weeks and some days.

NEVER AGAIN!

NOTE: By all means ~ This is ONLY my experience and ONLY my response to Jer and I conversation. This is NOT a bash thread! ...Sorry, just thought I would point that out.

During the 1st week when the decals did not fit, I made my purchase from DOMED DECALZ I have not had any time to install em, but rest assure with SB 100% guarantee and customer service, it wouldn't even matter if it did or didn't...That is what I am talking about that makes and breaks all differences.

Agreed on all points...

I think you might have just rubbed Simon the wrong way maybe? I know that you can sometimes be pushy (don't take that the wrong way, but just the way you can come across sometimes). I'll also say that I get the impression that English isn't his first language and I've found that when that is the case, they're responses are usually a little shorter. In addition, we're accustomed to having certain expectations of people and businesses and when they don't come through, it pisses us off. I guess I've given him plenty of leeway when it comes to that stuff cause he's been VERY good to me with pricing as well as being the guinea pig for him for things.

This is true. I also live by that rule of thumb since NO ONE IS PERFECT! But 3-4weeks of constant communication was the 2nd chance and BEYOND for me. Not to mention, they way it was left with no LOL, Oops, My Bad, Sorry, My apologies...Nada! Zilch! That would have made something better within me showing some humility in some manner for the goof and my time wasted. Trust me, I know shit happens dude. But NOTHING! after I said that refund was not me. I did not hear anything back after that. Just a email from PayPal I rec'd a refund. ~ OWN UP at least. I may have been buying more stuff it it would have ended on a that kind of note.

anyways, who the hell cares about my experience... Jer, get to wk and go buy something cool to feed your audience!

we all care about your experience as good or bad experience can make/ruin a vendor....

I have worked with Simon very closely and hence I mentioned that he is a great vendor....and as Jeremy mentioned with English not being Simon's first language he (Simon) likes to keep a conversation short and simple....

and honestly, i got flamed when I asked Peter/Rodney for apologies on the ECU thread and Justnspace helped me understand its BUSINESS and not personal....

Simon sold you a product, it didnt fit, he gave you the money back....agreed it took a little bit and he didnt say sorry but its business....bottom line is you got the $$$ back....ya know.....

bro i lost a lot of money when i approached the company to make an iphone app for me....paid the company the cash and the company declares bankruptcy after 3 weeks of paying then the cash.....the CEO came apologized to me....fuck i didnt need an apology, i needed my money back.....coz its business and sorry just doesnt cut it

LOL...^^^that's kinda funny (other than you losing money). But a good example...I'm on the fence with that stuff cause I'm a hardazz when it comes to being polite and pleases and thanks yous and stuff. But I'm also very sensitive and I know a lot of people aren't like that. So for some, it's just business, no apology needed since it wasn't personal. But in Anil's case, he wanted the money, not a sorry!

Josh, hmm...got nothing in the works for the time being. Need to fix one of my interior LED boards...got my clutch quiet finally...but other than that, I'm going to lay low for a bit. Well, I DO have a 300MM bluish tint Broadway mirror on the way. I have a regular chrome one, but wanted the blue tint and a little bigger. I have the 270MM one now and love it.

u right... I don't NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED a apology. Its not my company nor my customer service being questioned. As a man and customer, I know I have options and choices. Without saying more, u know what I choose. Period!

and trust me... Its not because of the lack of apology at the end. And its not completely about how long it took. Like I said, SHIT HAPPENS. And I am a forgiving man. Without getting all detailed about it, it was the multiple hoops of emails during this time span, the replies or lack of, the run around and excuses. I have all the emails till this day saved. But we won't go there. Its my choice and it was inexcusable imo. I am only one person. His business will still florish, and I hope it does. I am good

if i tell you how much i lost mang, it wont be funny no more....

i learned my lesson and started developing the app myself....but yeah being humble is a rare quality. On the ECU thread, all that was needed is "sorry for the fuck up"....same with Josh....a sorry goes a long way.....

but my point being, if Simon would have told Josh "sorry it doesnt fit" and not given his $$$ back, would Josh be ok with that?

Since we seem to have a paradox here.
in that instance, would "he" then become "Tyler" (which is you)?

I don't think I had the chance to tell you how much I love the engine shrouds painted orange...super tough!

I was tossing around Lucifer Orange for for mine but then i thought i might want to do a Teal powdercoat on the brembos....buttt I'm not sure yet.

Either way it looks devious!

Why thank you, Nicole (Nicole, right?...did you change your username?)!!
I love the orange too...was able to add a little color to such a bland colored car by adding little touches like that. You don't have that problem with the red!

Morgan...glad you dug that. Waiting for Tyler to see that joke...

I love the orange too...was able to add a little color to such a bland colored car by adding little touches like that. You don't have that problem with the red!
Not I didn't change the username, Nichio has been my nickname for years...(Also my license plate! lol)

Gawd I love the RED TL... who would have thought... Took a chance and SPOT ON Nichio! Although I do not have BREMBO's... I was just talking up the idea to redoing my red calibers to TEAL... I need a brighter soft color to pop in all the sinister darkness and that was my color of choice also. Adding to that, I may cop me some NEO CHROME lugs to match and add a subtle change but BIG on the fine details.

Got it Nichole...guess I didn't pay attention to your name in your thread...oops!

Josh, yeah, Teal is amazing...my blue lugs will match the teal well enough to be ok...but otherwise I'd be all over neochrome too.

Just wish I had BREMBOS... But I heard if you don't have em, they are not worth the money to swap to em. So, looks like I have to deal with my tinnie-winnie brakes...lol
