You're right Jeremy! It is, but somehow, I'll trudge through it....LOL!
OK, I've been thinking about this Jeremy. Black wheels get lost when they're on any other color but black. It obviously keeps with the black theme on a NBP. But I'm not a fan of black wheels on like a silver or red car.

Steven, I couldn't agree with you more. And to be ENTIRELY honest...I've never liked black on black either. I got them by chance...the seller, here on AZ, had posted pictures of them laying flat on the ground, so the reflection of the sky made me think they were actually a gunmetal color. Then, I received them and open the box and BAM...they're black.
I was actually depressed about it but once I added the blue to it, I knew I could work with that!

When I see TLs on the road, I think "now they're starting to look like an 8-9 year-old car..." but not yours... DAYUM.

Thanks Aman.
I appreciate that!
I do try and keep it looking clean and HOPE the styling doesn't start looking old to me. I'm hoping it stays a classic design. I just paid her off so I'm happy keeping it and just enjoying no payments.
Anil...gotcha, I was tempted to get mine powdercoated something else this last go around but the bright colors aren't my thing and the going silver, I feel like I'll be losing the batmobile (don't tell Italiano!) look!

Well, I saw ttk5's wheels...had the same ones in silver and I didn't like them...they looked so ordinary to me. I DO love teal...I've seen so much nice teal and would be tempted to do that color but I know I'd get tired of it and overall, I feel like teal wheels would feel juvenile for a 33 year old guy.
I guess, in a way my wheel ARE a custom color because Logan from workwheelsusa told me that since my color labels are MBL they were supposed to be Matte Black and the person that had them originally (never mounted, they were like new when I bought them) must have had them preemptively professionally clearcoated because they're the only XC8's he'd ever seen in Gloss black.

Morgan, not only is your comment insulting to me, but it's also pretty racist.
See...I see no color!
Anil...yeah, he didn't telll me but when it was on it's way he's like...yeah, looks like the owner had them cleared a lot to make them shiny. I was like...OK!!!!

Morgan, it's all good and thanks again. I've been quoted. ONLY thing more epic was when friggin Rockstar21 stole my avatar and made me do a double take by posting as me on multiple threads.

Is that how the 04-06 base rv6 exhausts are coming out?
Smaller dual tip mufflers?
I want
Oh and a hint to starting to use manual.
Go set your dslr to program mode, press the shutter half way so it gets a reading, and re-enter the aperture, shutter speed into your manual mode. Thats your median. Then get familiar with adjusting ISO, then adjust the other two based on that! It gets easy once you know how to compensate for exposure.

Thanks Sean...
Ironically, on Saturday after washing both cars, decided to try and self teach myself some manual mode stuff...took about 30 pictures..went inside to take a look and what do you know...not ONE USABLE picture. I deleted the whole thing out of frustration. I was messing with settings and speeds and filters. Meh...got very discouraged.
Took a few with my phone...Saturday and this morning. Came out ok, but not the same DSLR quality, obviously.
Also, my spring install on my clutch pedal did nothing for the creaking clutch noise. On the other hand, the urea high temp honda grease I bought for the spring, I used my syringe and injected it into the master cylinder and immediately it stopped. So win win...guess need to see how long it lasts. If it doesn't last, i'll have to replace the master.

can you see the exposure bar in the viewfinder? I would got +1 on your car. that's 3 clicks over from 0.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE JEREMY. You don't just go out and be perfect, trust me sir. I've got YEARS of shooting without an auto mode...and I''m not even close to being 'good'. Think about that. But really, try +1 on the TL and see how it goes.
see the meter? go +1, aka 3 clicks positive

That's what I always say! The more balls the merrier!!!
Yeah, the first 8 exhausts that were made were made as a quad smaller tip to fit the base opening...nobody likes them, but I do! I might revisit if Richie makes another type of dedicated base tip...because I refuse to swap out my rear...I like keeping it an original 04 aspec for the most part. I love how it sounds and now that I repolished it up...loving the look too! The fitment is spot on...
About the camera tips, thank you very much! I'll give it a whirl!
J.
Thanks Sean...out of curiosity...does that +1 setting change based on exterior lighting scenario?!!?!? Like, different for full sun than the evening? Also, the friggin exposure time (is that the ISO)/?! I did something and couldn't get the fkn thing to stop staying open for like 20 seconds...just a white frame. I won't give up though...

I brought my DSLR to work yesterday but didn't have a chance to find a place to shoot. Then, today I'm biking after work and didn't want my DSLR locked in my car unattended so I left it home.
I really need to get some rolling shots soon.
