Gawwwwd that thing is so clean. How are the Work lugs holding up? Has repetitive socket use caused any chipping?

You ever consider doing a projector setup in the fogs?
I have considered it, but haven't pulled the trigger on it. Maybe down the line...you mean the bumper fogs or the oems? I think I'm done messing with the headlights for a while! LOL.

Thanks man, yeah...it's love/hate with the wing, but every time I remove it...I end up missing it, it looks so clean with nothing, but the spoiler does flow so well with the car at so many angles...

Thank you, Austin...long modding weekend!
I should have...would have been easier to tell our cars apart that way!

LMAO. Thank you though...I'm happy with them too.

Thanks, bud...
sure...
19x9 all around...offset with spacers...+25 rear and +35 front with a 235/35/19 tire. I run either 1 version 2 20MM spacer rear OR when I rotate I run front/back sets of V1 10MM spacers to keep the same offsets and be able to rotate.

Dang John...you're my teal leader...glad you dig it. I'm super happy with how it came out and the matching rings now...the Work lugs have the little lines on the sides from where the 21MM socket makes contact but you can't see it on the ends...I don't impact them on for obvious reasons but no complaints thus far. I miss the ability to use the impact gun though...I will say that.

Thank you, brother...in the works to do something with your tips, hopefully...we shall see. I had an RSX-S too...but in BOM and ironically, I miss that color!

Thank you MEKO, jeez...quite a compliment. Sorry if this message takes a while to get to you, it has to travel REALLY far from the Planet I'm on...lately, I've been doing nothing but work on the cars...I guess Betty getting a new car really pushed me to want my car to be as perfect as possible.

damn Jeremy....car looks awesome....am now digging the whole teal look....at first (when you did the calipers) I wasnt sure of the look (as I expressed it before) but now it all flows very very well....

the ring in the headlight doesnt stand out as much, but matches the caliper and love that image (IMG_0434) which kinda shows them off....

finally more than the car, I like your habit of taking care of things ASAP !!! Just 2 days back when JnC posted that info in Aaron's thread, I was like, ok I need to do this and kinda help protect my headlight but I just cudnt get the time to do it....where as you finished the job....I think that is what makes your car well modded

Anil, that's really kind of you, man. Thank you...

Honestly, some say I have a bit of a problem. I have a really hard time sitting still when home on the weekends. My absolute favorite thing to do is have my gorgeous fiancee inside hanging out, watching househunters or something...while I work on a car in the garage...some project, take my time, listen to pandora on the garage radio, maybe have a drink here and there...I truly enjoy that. All my friends tell me WAIT TILL YOU HAVE KIDS but I have a feeling I'll still squeeze time in for it. I have like a checklist of things I need to get done in my head and I tackle them no matter what.

I had decided I'd just leave my cleared headlights on for a while...but after going to sleep after reading about the UV protection thing on Saturday night...I literally popped awake at 6am yesterday and my brain was racing with what I'd tackle first etc...so i got up and went at it. Took most of the day since I had to clean up a lot of the extra bunk I had used. In the end, there are still some imperfections, but I'm happy with how it all looks together.

Anyway, that was long winded.

J.

Your friends have a point, but that just means you will enjoy our modding/alone time that much more. I don't always mod my car, but when I do...it's at 5am...on a weekday...in the rain.

I have been hearing that from my friends and colleagues as well....

...and in my head am like "baah, we will see"

its just that the projects around the house have taken a priority....recently I was not able to sleep as well and in my head I was trying to categorize the things to do on the car....something like "so when the bumper is off, I can do this this and this and later I can finish this this and this"....I could not sleep until I woke up and make a list on a post it and decided when I would tackle all this....

+1 on pandora+water...once the work is done....take her for a spin and come back home to enjoy a well deserved cold one

Seeing you mofos mod your cars this nice makes me want to start on the FX or the MINI.

Don't know if I have the disposable income though. The FX does have a nice OEM bodykit now that I could consider getting...

I meant a little vodka diet...a mild buzz while working can keep you motivated...
I agree though, I try and think of what makes sense to knock out when I'm doing one mod or another and that's why it ends up being these friggin 10 hour sessions. Hmmm...I started off just going to rotate tires and now i've swapped headlights, painted calipers, changed lugs, put air in tires, cleaned inside rim of tire, remove isimple of radio...replace clips...i just keep adding stuff as I go along while motivated.

Get to it, man! Notice, most of the modding we all do is DIY'ish and doesn't cost much more than a rattle can and some sandpaper...I enjoy doing little things to make the car unique...you know, since I RARELY run into any other TL's on the road

You're not a kid, Austin...just a man that doesn't know it yet. You'll get there.

Ok, gave the domed decalz another whirl...in the dark charcoal that matches my reflector corners on the headlights. I dig it!

the shine and the depth is second to none !!!

Thank you thank you...
Yeah, Aaron's method AND I did use the clear RTV sealant and some painters tape to hole the letter on till it dried. Perfect so far...I'll report back in a bit.

Thank Anil...yeah, was considering the TL but it's so easy to go overboard with matching and end up looking like a TEAL Transformers TL. I thought about it long and hard (no homo) and decided that the gunmetal matching the corners would be better.

I think the DD looks good. If it's silver (difficult to tell from the pics), they match the silver on the Aspec lip.

Teal would look good too though (I agree with Anil).

I already feel like I'm pushing the envelope with the matching teal headlights and calipers...I don't want to go overboard. I was against accentuating that indentation in the bumper, so keeping it somewhat stealthy is a must. The gunmetal silver matches the aspec AND the corner of my headlights.

Thanks for all the comments fellas.
