I'm gonna end up seeing your Mu's in person before I see my own. Roads here are still too salty...makes me nervous.

Does Acura/Honda know about some of the good work you kids do with your TLs? They should feature you guys.

awwww hellz nawww....
thank you very much, brah!
Wait for text! Also, i've noticed the mu caps get these little fine cracks in them if you even use the impact to do the spinning on and off of the lugs.
Thank yum...that's a huge compliment...funny enough, I went to the RLX release thing at the local dealer and a bunch of the other people were just watching my car drive by...I was thinking it was funny they were looking at a 9 year old car.

Brings back memories of when I owned the CL-S with the Versus kit installed. Got questions and looks all the time. The local dealership took pics of it and the kit's information after they saw it when I brought the car in for servicing right after it was mounted.

i actually agree with Yummy, but i think it all depends on which dealership it is, who is working there, and what kind of relationship you have with them.
i avoid the dealership at all costs so i don't have anything to go off of, just my opinion.

Yeah mine is slow as hell...and now the service manager is telling me they only want to replace the boot and joints or something, not the whole axle.
He's still working on it though. I hope he can help me out.

I dunno...I think your cars are done well. Not in some "hyper" look either...It just adds a nice aggression to the sedan.

Yeah, honestly, I plan to pay off the machine and fender finisher, one hundred dollar bill at a time (starting with Austin!...). Especially on the TL where the front tab that can't be rolled and needs to be massaged and coaxed with the finishing tool, dremel, and rubber mallet...I think it's a fair price. Just rolling is EASY in comparison!

I think you're right, Anil...the teal caps on the end look like they can be pried off and you could run them as open ended. I only saw the closed ended ones on ebay except for one that was like $130 and looked like they had a unattached base...not sure if that's what he was looking for though.

Ok, I have on my flamesuit
While waiting for my grill to get redone, I put on my silvers, if you noticed. Well, yesterday when coming home from work, for some reason I decided that I wanted to get the last few good miles out of this set of tires and put the aspecs back on while I wait.
I think they look great with the teal calipers behind them. I kinda wanted to be RE surprised at the perfect fitment when I do put the Works back on! Also, I need to make some better repairs to them on some areas that need it, and being off the car already will make it that much easier.
I remembered that every time anyone asks me about fitment with the Aspecs and spacers, I have to dig far and hard for pictures...so decided to document it this time.
So, here they are: 18 x 8.5" with 235/40/18 rubber...with spacers it's +30 rear and +35 fronts (5MM less than my works to accommodate the wider tires). Reason it's not MORE aggressive, which I'm quite proud of, is the use of upper camber arms, I'm at -.05 F camber and -1 rear. Factory spec at 3 inches lower. Yay.
Another funny story, I had my earphones in and didn't hear these 2 dudes in the row next to me...once he got my attention, I realized he was asking me if I was selling. I told him "No, I am just nuts and I take pictures every time I change something". He was like..."wow, man...that TL is awesome...my buddy here (driving an ILX) has a TL too and we saw you at Walmart a few weeks ago and love your car. I was all and :ghey: about it. Felt good though...

A-Specs ftmfw!
#6745
, huh?! Are you biased, perchance? lol...thanks Tyler, I agree, they dooo look so gorgeous...whenever I miss a little contrast in my rims, rather than go nuts and regret and powdercoat my work wheels or sell my aspecs, I get such satisfaction at being able to just jack the car up, swap spacers and throw them on. Gives the car a fresh look for a bit without any extra money spent.
Twist, I think you'd have to damage the caps to remove them, not positive, but I ain't trying it!

Gawd dayum!
The calipers do look great behind the A-Specs! Keep them on!
No, for real, keep them on.

Jeremy....the car looks great....
honestly, am digging the spoiler with silver grille and no fogs and aspecs....now when you change your grille and the rims and put the fogs back on, do remove the spoiler
overall am not sure if the car looks better or your photography is better....but I will refer to the double sided dildo that John spoke about

I told you guys he is in a planet of modding
Compare the TL with how it looked 2 weeks ago
So fast, so clean, so good modding
What the hell I am jealous
The drop is exactly what I want
Now you tell me what number to sand my RDX xalipers with before paintin copper
And what's the plan for fogs? Why take em out?
