all of those look good. I think the black wheels look better than the gunmetal aspecs, though.

Lovely pic.

Then, I notice the reflection of some weird looking dude in the bumper trying to show off his hairy legs.

Arctic Tyler caught that first!
I love the aspecs, but after 3 weeks, I can honestly say that I miss the works very much. They'll be back on the car very soon. Soon as I get my grill/fogs back.

Got something to handle this weekend.

Okay, I already told you, if you press me, I'll install them facing backward into the engine bay and I'll make them come on only when you use your wipers on the fastest speed. Now THAT I'd dedicate some time to figure out.

There used to be a time when Comptech (i.e. CT Engineering) was truly the only player on the market.

What do you guys think of the selection now?

I still love the comptech name the most...since it was semi endorsed by Acura directly, it makes me feel like it's OEM ish. Brand foolishness, I know...but it worked.

They did make some quality stuff...super expensive...but, good stuff. Back then, they were the only outfit that really made anything extensive for my CL-S.

Ahhhh...if only.

If I were to mod, I would consider the OEM bodykit they've released for the FX50...but, that's likely diaper money now.

Thank you, brother. Haven't been in here in a bit...had some updates going and car doesn't feel pic worthy.

BUT, that'll be over with soon enough.

Some updates...
my fogs were revisited and broken lens replaced.

broke and had to replace my license holder thingy...(thanks bruce, killer price).

and lastly and most importantly, the reason for my trunk spoiler FS thread. It's over. No more back and forth...

more and better pictures to come as things start coming together.

J.

PS: are you getting the roof spoiler as well? it will make the car flow very very well

Thanks boys...
yeah, sometimes a man comes to a fork in the road. And has to make a decision...
I did, and although I'm too nitpicky, as per usual...overall it does look rather fkn splendid. No regrets here...worth every penny to do it. Now, I look at my old pictures and am like, yuck. I know, I know...I tried hard to convince myself. Anyway...I'll have pictures back when things come together properly.

I'm iffy on the roof spoiler, need to find one that matches REALLY well.

I agree with you on the roof spoiler....the ebay ones are too common and I wish the ATLP "fitted" better....

but you got Nexson in the neighborhood dude, so no fitment worries....I bet he can make the ATLP fit like a glove on your car...

Wow, you all really DIDN'T like the fkn spoiler either. You were just being nice to me all these years. Honestly, from some angles I really felt like it flowed and worked with teh car, but the more I look at my old pics etc...the more I'm convinced...the only ones that really turned me on were when I'd pull the spoiler off.

Got a couple of other things that a wacky buddy of mine was working on. Soon enough I'll post up.

The roof spoiler would have to match this spoilers look dead on for it to look right. And you just aren't going to find one that does...

Not sure about the roof spoiler. I'm assuming it is easy to take on or off if the look is not appealing?

^^^dat's what I'm thinking.
Thanks Chad...you rarely visit me anymore...

Yeah, I'm going to just enjoy the sleek look, for now. I will revisit. Gotta keep projects for the future! Sheesh, y'alls is never happy with me! I finally got rid of the double headed d word and you guys want me to get another one!

on some cars, I've found that it looks like being able to see a petticoat under a dress. Like, what's better than a lip spoiler...TWO of them, of course!!!

Anyway, I happen to think it looks VERY clean for the time being. I really want to post up an update when I have a real one.

As a thought, just remember, simplicity in itself is beauty...so, these cars have been very tastefully modded but it often takes just a tacky addition to start slanting it towards the "rice" column.

Not saying the roof spoiler would do that...but, just a thought that I think rockstar's car is hotness already. If there are any mods I could suggest, maybe just rims to change it up every so often at this stage?

^^^ain't that the truth. To be entirely honest with you, I've been feeling like I'm teetering on that edge with the addition of the teal calipers etc...it looks good, and I love the contrast, but at some point you have to just sit back and say "hey, it looks good, be happy with how she sits now" keep her clean, maintained and enjoy driving her.

Everyone has lip and roof spoiler...lip and roof spoiler. So for me, if I do it, it'll have to be the RIGHT one. I'll sleep on it for a few months. Will revisit.
