Not the best picture, or high res for that matter, but I really liked how the sun was catching the lip and spokes as I was walking back from the office gym at lunch...shows exactly how flush it sits and the camber. Love it.

So sexy. I really need to work on getting my camber straightened up.

See what I did there?

Thanks fellas...trust me, it pains me to bother posting up cell phone pictures at this point.
Steven, I'm trying my hardest to ensure I don't ever end up with another dash crack. My dash stays pretty dry now but it's scary, When it's hot I can see the outline of the stupid passenger airbag.

I'm wondering if keeping the temp down in the car and lubing up the dash is the right way.

I had to go back to page 208 You picture hoo-uh!

They look great. Personally, I liked the orange up front. Either way, it looks nice. Glad to see you enjoying the new camera.

Definitely rock the sun shade for that dashes health. And keep the moon roof cracked. That's about all you can do really.

I too can see my airbag outline when it's hot.

Austin, we missed you! :hugs:
Did you learn to play the banjo or squeal like a pig?

Yes sirs...I keep the windows cracked actually...with visors rain won't get in and since hot air builds pressure it can still escape.

I dig the amber too, Austin...I'm really caught in the middle between loving BOTH looks, if you can believe that. Me, unsure of a mod?!?! NO WAY!

+1, plus what you do J - sunroof popped, windows down a bit, but not past the visors. Even when it gets crazy hot, the inside of my car never feels too warm, not like it used to.

Huh. I always thought of the visors as a smoking thing. I never considered how useful they are for this purpose...

^Same here, never thought of it haha

J. You know I used Armorall for 6 years, just changed to Meguirs last year, since then, I have never seen the airbag outline again...

I always hated the dashboard not being equal at every section after cleaning but after Meguiars... nope

Tried both. Both nice but I use the orange one

The main part I love about it is that it doesn't leave any grease on the screens/ carbon fiber parts and etc...

Yea I don't really think what protectant I put on there will stop that from happening.

And to be honest I can see that outline 100% of the time. Lol

Luckily for me my car is under a roof 98% of the time.

That's why I said try the one said up there
I don't have a sunshade, used armorall for 6yrs, mine should be in the worst situation ever
Tried that orange Meguiars and airbag outline is not there anymore.

I don't know we have to compare J. Take pics, and I'll take some today too.

Well, I'm gotten such mixed reviews from Acura...my service guy tells me don't use anything but water and a little soap to wipe it down. Then I'm told to just use the Honda approved stuff, which I went to go see and it's just rebranded armorall (I think).

So since dash has been replaced I've only done 303 about twice...but the dash looks super effing dry.

I don't do sunroof popped since the rain will make it's way in and into the a pillars (ask me how i know).

I'm convinced that the key is keeping the dash from experiencing the huge hot to cold cycles over and over again...i'm hoping that by keeping temp down 20 degrees with the cracked windows/tint and insulated sun shade, I'll achieve that. I'll hit it with 303 again...I'm very afraid of putting anything like that on my dash Meko, but thanks for the suggestion. I DO honestly believe that Acura doesn't really know why it happens...

I sure do love this camera...
Okay, so...what do you know...I'm starting to realize what makes a GOOD photographer and that's someone that knows how to adapt to shoot in any scenario. Up until this point I've shied away from shooting in full sun because it looks overdone, or underdone or dirty etc.

Enter some high quality Hoya Filters...ordered 67MM and an adapter ring that hasn't shown up yet to be able to use on both of my lenses. I opted for better quality and a ring rather than 2 sets of cheap ones like I had on the 30D (sorry, Woz). I think it made a huge difference! The sky looks breathtaking...still underexposed a few but in full sun it's really hard to see what you're doing on the fly, what with the sweat in my eyes and the sack stuck to my leg and all.

So, with that said, last photo is with UV lens alone...I can see a difference in all this "multi coat" shenanigan. The car is filthy and the wheels have zero tire shine left after driving in rain for the last 2 weeks. First batch in the work yard are done with the Circular Polarizing Lens...Next ones were the NDx8 filter, last one...UV

this is a high quality of what i was trying to show yesterday...flush with that -1F/-1.5R Camber.

NDx8 lens filter

If you have a Circular Polarizer, you should be loving that. It makes a huge difference on our cars.

And congrats on Hoya das nice.

I order mine from amazon...
thanks fellas.

Yep, Austin...I had one before, but I have to say I don't think you can truly compare the $12 set I bought to the Hoya's...they're very solid/heavy and you can see how the coating affects the shot. I'm really happy with it!

About the airbag...just have to keep an eye on it...most soaps end up drying stuff out...I'd be leery of advice given by anyone that doesn't truly understand the problem or blame the old silicone in the armorall that was an issue in a formula they had in the 80's or 90's.

I thought the proper AZ sanctioned procedure was like Woolite and water to clean then a layer or two of 303 to protect?

Nice new shots. I can't decided if I want to see the red rear side markers on your car or those. Because you have red in your tails but then don't have much color in your heads...

Trust me, been down that road already! I put the base reds sides on at one point and within a day I was like, yuck...mainly because you have to be at 3/4 or rear to see the red on my car, from every other angle, nada...no color.

Thanks, man.

Yeah, I bought woolite for that purpose too...but I find that using the 303 on MF towel will lift off most of the dirt without going further. Been a lot better since I stopped allowing people to eat fried chicken in my car.

Great pix Jeremy....

I wudnt worry about the AIRBAG outline being visible....that is the weakest spot on the dash for a reason....I wouldnt let the dash dry though, keep it well moisturized...if anything, leave some leather conditioner on it (inside a garage in a nice cool place) and then take it off....

Thanks Anil...yeah, I feel you, man. I'll need to lube that bish up soon.
