Pics of said amber snake eyes? Always been a fan since I saw the "fire eyes" on Andy's car. BTW, how much of this is camera vs photography skill vs editing skill?

so as I mentioned, before, I dont hate the Amber....it just didnt flow well with your car (from the previous pictures)....but if you turn the upper fogs off, they look SICK !!! the flow has returned

Whoops, talking about two different things.

I like the burning orange color DRLs on NBP.

Oooooo nice shots J.
Looks nice keep it like this. Clean look
Again, I love the height + the last shot

Edit: Just saw this page
I tried alllll the bulbs. Screw Nokya yellow, from the shots it just looks normal halogen, nothing near orange led bulbs like my avi or nothing that matches the signals to make snake eyes

Meko, I think it's a bit more orange than normal halogen.

JJH, what? Nokya? Wasn't when I tried it... could say yellow but not orange.
and what makes it look good is the contrast, when parking is not bright as halogen on upper fog... the flow just doesn't match

Dash and Tires

Just recently purchased an 06 TL. It's black ( somewhat regretting it due to the heat). After having it a couple of weeks I noticed the dash, especially on the passenger side has faded a bit. What's the best stuff to use? I'm not a big fan of Armour All. Also it has Blizzak tires on it, what do you guys recommend for improved ride and handling? Thanks

for the dash, I use murphy oil soap which moisturizes the dash instead of drying it out further like armourall.

Hey fellas, thank you for the comments.
In the pictures I posted last week, they were nokya yellows in the low beam. I don't have anything turned on here yet...I fixed the broken LED bulb last night so no picture of it yet. These are from yesterday. I'll get some new ones of the snake eye looking amber. I took a few pictures with my phone but they look yellow too. I promise you though, in person...they look amber and awesome.

Anil, thank you, man...I appreciate bringing the pictures to the next page. I agree, most do have it set to 40.

Yeah, 303 on dash or nothing...they key to keeping it from cracking is keeping inside temps from getting too extreme. I leave windows cracked and sun visor up, always. About the tires...too many threads out there and opinions to answer that one! Thanks for stopping in and welcome, once you treat NBP well, it'll return the favor. Embrace it!

Thanh... I was just on your page and though, man...I wish I was as good as him.

Closing the sunroof cover blocks out sunlight getting in your car too - keeps it a little cooler inside.

^^^That's for sure. I work in a locked yard...so I leave windows cracked with visors, I don't even fear rain. Then I do insulated covercraft sun shade. Then I have 26% tint all around, sunroof closed and covered closed. Can you tell I had a cracked dash already!?!?

Also, meant to respond. For about the last 6 months, since I started using the camera on "auto"...I pretty much make it my goal to NOT edit any of my pictures. Those are taken on program, with different ISO/Exposure/F Stop settings until it looks pretty...then I fire away. Usually, I get home with 30 shots, and can post about 10 of them. In the last 2 sessions (not full sun) I've noticed with the new camera, the majority of the shots are usable. Except for the blurry from not having a tripod yesterday. It was so effing windy that even with the mono pod, I couldn't keep the camera perfectly still.

This should be the definition of improving on perfect. I was in love with your car back in the spoiler days, and didn't think you could possibly make it any better. I was wrong... very wrong!

Also... dat paint condition! I can't for the life of me get any shine like that out of the Jetta.

Mine never has been, or ever will be that big.

Steven. I love you. Like, more than friends.

Aman...it's trick photography, man...trust me, my car isn't that sectsy in person. Ask Meeks. That was a very nice post, Aman. Thank you a billion times over. Forgive the seeming duplicates, but each has a different exposure to highlight different things.

Okay, yesterday I went out behind Chili's across the street to mess with some lighting settings to capture the amber change. Love love love it. I know the fogs look dim, but in person, they look fantastic. Shot with 18-105MM with no filters (don't have them yet). No touching up either. All effects were created by adding/subtracting exposure. I did use a tripod.

Yup totally looks clean. Don't ever look back at cheap 6k.
Modding in USA will see it one day
No hope for civic people though

Hahahaha

Aman, don't listen him, paint really does look great, I think he is expecting something like those silver cars at Dubai
He was talking about some imperfections on the car, but I couldn't see them. Well I am used to the cars in Boston, that too haha

J. I loved all the shots but the second one from last is amazing. Something new

Thank you, Meko! You're too kind. So you saw it on Flickr first then, gotcha!

Tyler, in that shot you posted, I noticed the wall is wet and then it gets dry, and it's dry along the contour of my car...looks like I touched that area up!
