Anil, what in tarnation?

How about these...I like this brand a LOT. NRG.
really love these, but would want to confirm they are long as fk and deep enough to accomodate.

http://new.getnrg.com/products/exter...ut/ln-500bl-21

Also, looking into their weighted carbon fiber shift knob...probably for my birthday.

HE'S A LIAR...
He clearly paid for the room cause he wants in on this action. I guess that's the beauty of a bromance, due to our anatomy, there is always an extra hole for anyone that joins the party.

Bah...even in jest (not ingest!), that is not my cup o tea.

PS...no, on the NRG site, they are $100 for those...I lOVE thos 11 sided ones, they look so cool! If the blue is on the money AND they are much deeper to give me clearance, I'll probably go that route.

Great idea though...but I still like the style I love...

Sorry man, you'll never make me jelly with that argument...faster or not, to me, it's about enjoying the car and I don't enjoy driving unless I'm the one shifting.

Always been the case...

Ok, maybe in traffic I'm a LITTLE jelly

Those NRG lugs look nice, but I can't say they're as pretty as the Work lugs. The NRG shift knobs look pretty nice, but it looks like they're all for 5MT or 6MT vehicles.

I know dude, was just rubbing in the 6MT, I know for a fact that there are a bunch of people trying to do the conversion for a reason. But seriously...the driving in traffic, I'd rather have an auto sometimes.

Thanks John...only thing is that the NRG lugs and the ebay ones I saw are 50MM deep...so open or closed, they would work on my extended studs without issue. I love that 12 point too...looks cool. The Works are only 34MM or so...and you already know the headache I just had with them last week.

About the shift knob...yeah, I'm 6speed. I called last night and really want the 480 gram/1.1 lb one...but that 900BC one that is taller, they only have available in a 240 gram one now in 6 speed. Was thinking of getting it with the 6 speed on top, but kinda like that NRG emblem in blue and black on it. ...I'm wondering if that will feel heavy enough. Maybe a 1 pound one is TOO heavy?

I was also looking at this moshimoto one...but I don't think I'll like having to hold the shifter vertically, since our cup holders are right in the way.

You guys are too much with the shifting faster than the computer...that's why I didn't even get into that comparison...plus, it's not good for the drivetrain to bang thru the gears like you have to to shift super quick.

So, thanks to the push from y'all and especially John (ebelp)...made a swap.
I'll let you guys figure out what it is...I have to admit, although I said I'd never spend the money on it, after having the WTech ones, I really did love the look. Couldn't be happier. WTechs are on ebay for sale now.

Agreed! I have mine in a box waiting to get installed OEM just looks a lot better than WTech.

BTW - was the install straight forward per the manual? I was going to follow this:
