That's good stuff. I really like a lot of blue magic's products. If you haven't used their carpet stain remover, you're missing out. Shit is magic. I think I made a thread or post years ago. Not sure who was listening, but it's my go to stain remover.
Regarding headlights.. restore them however you like, then do film.
I've been slapping this ish on Betty's SRX since new...her 2.5 year old headlights still look brand new...not even a hint of yellowing up top...which is the place it happens.

I feel bad. Haven't cleaned up my salt stains yet... I have protective weatertech mats but still gets around it a bit.

YES! I found them randomly at Oreilly a few years ago and picked it despite the 10 other cleaners and it works great!

Sigh... well with the new job I had to give up my wonderful underground parking, due to now working in a building with only outside parking. I'm nervous my dash will Crack eventually. Fuuuu.
I'm keeping the sunroof tilted and windows slightly cracked on warm days but it seems like a shit type solution. I'm also not a fan of those windshield blocker thingies, but alas I guess I'll have to get one.
It kind of blows my mind how the 3G section consistently has the most viewers in it than any other part of AZ. Goes to show where Acura's bread and butter lies- on a 10 year old car

Yep, first world problems. My car has been exposed to sun for 11 years now and the dash still looks mighty fine. Other than being dirty. I'm the worst car owner.
Took the evening to clean my headlights, no more yellow. Hopefully nothing touches the UV coating while it dries. I live near the highway, there's maple trees in the parking lot throwing helicopters everywhere and it's been windy as heck lately. I'd be pissed if something dried on one of the headlights...
On the upside, if nothing touches them, she'll have pretty eyes finally.

Adam...a billion percent...get the sun shade Johnny suggested...and get window visors so you can leave the windows cracked during rain/wind...it's not the direct sun you have to be afraid of...it's the extreme hot to extreme cold of running the AC on full blast. If you keep the temps inside 20 degrees lower, it'll be less likely to crack. I have the airbag outline on my replacement dash...if it goes again, I'll be buying that plastic cover that looks like the dash the next time around.
Grrr. trying to book a flight on southwest because of firesale and servers are down because every one and they mamma trying to jump on it i'll be pissed if i dont get that $49 deal!
Sunshade for sure, Adam. I got a mid grade quality one specially cut for the TL for like $50. When I open the door, and it's hot inside, I just leave the door open to let the heat out and cut the AC on low for a while. The sunshade definitely helps a lot though.
