I researched forgestars...some of their "forged" wheels are flow form cast to be as STRONG as forged. So what's the point...XXR wheels suck, Wacker had the finish come off of them from rock chipping...so to me, that's not worth the cheap cost of the wheels if I have to have them look like sh*t. I think Brandon had a crack or bend in his...and someone else had an issue, maybe Dave That's enough to tell me to stay away from them...catastrophic failure though? Yeah...you'll find them...but percentage wise vs how many sets are sold...I bet the failure rate would be less than the 1 out of 200 sets of ultra rare TE37Super Titanium ultra racing light edition with extra enamel bonding wheels.

First off, unless the wheel is some generic color, color matching can be near impossible. Ever see the 19" oem G35 wheels color matched? My friend had one damaged and insurance tried THREE times to match it before buying him a new wheel. Many many wheels don't have an easily matched color. So then you pay to refinish 4 wheels... How much are you saving then? What a simpleton.
