Also eating out every day every meal sounds great but definitely packs on the pounds.

Definitely gotta get the motivation up to go gym more often though, I'm still 'young' but if you don't set up good habits sooner, it'll only get harder.

also holy shit.. 3 blocks in winter.. okay if you can do that, i think i can walk down the hall and down the one flight of stairs to the hotel gym and suck it up...
I lived out of a suitcase a few times during my career to-date and probably will more given the nature of my work -- all we need is another ERP-type project and I'm living in hotels for weeks at a time during prototyping and design sessions...

But, it is what you make of it...and you need to stick to it. When I was living on the road (and this included downtown Vancouver where the food was glorious), I made it a point to first go to the gym as soon as I was done for the day...no excuses. Only then, did I go for my dinner. And being on the road, and given how the food was so good in places like Vancouver, I made it a point to only eat raw veggies and fruits for breakfast and lunches.

It is what it is...and very doable. You just gotta want to do it. Just set your mind to it...health is an investment and unfortunately, there are no shortcuts! But, you can still enjoy life if you make the effort and balance it.

In a blink of an eye, you'll be approaching your 40s like me...and then, 50s...so, start now!

By the way, have you checked out Yuja Wang?

She's rather cute and can play up a storm.

Another thing thoiboi, hotel gyms have cardio machines at a minimum usually and all you need are 2 dumb-bells and you can do the rest easily for muscle...just try doing functional-type workouts. And if the weights are too light for chest, nothing beats the basic push-up...

On the road, when I'm at a facility without much in the gym, I usually do the "To 100 pushups" 2-3 times as per my chest workout (no cheating on form)...so, while I am not going to boast being able to do 100 reps in one go, I can usually get to 60-something on my first set...followed by a giant drop-off to 20-something by second set...and then, trying to finish up to 100 total...usually takes 4-6 sets to get to 100.

Take a break for 2-3 minutes...repeat. Usually by the second set, it will take me about 8-9 sets to get to 100. But, you get the idea.

Justin, to report, the morning workouts are not working out...

tried pretty much everything, I just think I wake up LAZY lol...it takes a lot more to get my heart rate going...I was doing legs and my heart rate in the morning was 130-140 and for the same workout around the evening time its 150-160...

maybe I will try again/something different, but for now am back to evening workouts and em

Thanks for the help though dude...

Yummy, back in the day when I had lifetime fitness membership, I could go to any location....so it didnt matter that I was traveling, I would just go to the nearest location and get a workout in like I usually do! with no more lifetime fitness membership, I have to do exactly what you recommended...I try to get my cardio in, go for a run/treadmill, do body weights, high reps low rest/active rest...

If I ate better and less, I could get by with not working out as much.

Yeah I'm definitely trying. Breakfast is okay, what i'll do is I'll go to Trader Joe's Monday nights and buy breakfast for the week: fruits, , milk/cereal, etc. Lunch/dinner on the other hand is rough.. I'll try and get a salad if we go to a place that has some.. but this is the fucking South.. (currently Raleigh, NC), sweet tea, bbq, fried chicken, wash it down with more sweet tea... I'm cutting back on it big time because I know my energy levels have gone down tremendously with eating crap food..

I made it a point to first go to the gym as soon as I was done for the day...no excuses. Only then, did I go for my dinner.
I may take a stab at this.. definitely seems doable.

But, it is what you make of it...and you need to stick to it.
True words indeed.. I can sit here all day and make excuses but I know ultimately, those will get me on the fast track to nowhere.

Well, diet is no substitute for exercise and exercise is no substitute for diet. You need both, Herr S2K.

But, you are in a place where you have access to some pretty tasty stuff...it's hard to resist!

I used to do morning workouts aka 5:30AM(PST) spin at the gym (I'm a cyclist). It was great but now if i wake up at 5 AM EST to work out.. my body will have no idea what the fuck is going on.. I think while on the East, I'll have to settle to evening workouts like you and maybe do early morning workouts back home PST..

yeah.... FL has pretty amazing food.. For the 6 months I was there, I always went back to this place: Sr. Ceviche - Seafood - Pembroke Pines, FL - Reviews - Photos - Yelp for their Tallarines Verde with skirt steak...

I may have to make a trip out there this weekend for old times' sake...

Oh... also i need to get a decent Cubano sandwich.. I went to Versailles before I left but didn't get one and am beating myself up...

Actually, I think it's the hood that I don't like- makes me think of a Caliber SRT lol. The wheels are nice doe.
Wait- let me rephrase that- it's the upper one I don't like the hood on, not the lower one. That's not to say I wouldn't buy one though lol. I love everything else about the SRT. I absolutely love the SRT lineup these days. All the cars are so nice.

and yeah, go figure, I like a rice out civic but whine about this thing lol. But I kind of expect the civic to be rice. The GC should be more of a luxurious, understated brute on sexy wheels.

I'm sure it won't get to that. He will just have to have his contractor fix it. End of story. I just have to go to the trouble of getting it surveyed to prove it.

Either way, I honestly couldn't give two shits about these neighbors. They're both fucking weird and I never really spoke to them before until 2-3 weeks ago. They're just strange. I've lived there for just over a year and they've always been the same. I'm good with all the other neighbors (guy beside me and everyone else in my crescent), so meh, no big loss to me!

That's what i mean. The caliber was shit. And for some reason the hood of the 2017 SRT reminds me of it. Call me cray

Also, I said CURRENT SRT vehicles... not past ones. The caliber was shit. Same with the SRT-4. I never liked that car and there was more white framed Oakley wearing douches driving it than BMWs.
