The 300ZX also got from a friend I think for $14K back then, right side driving, silver, 93, T-roof.
TOKYOOOOO DRIFT DRIFT DRIFT
Sold it because it was too expensive for me back then, it was cool for a summer but the insurance was raping me because I was young + it was on a used car loan and that raped me too. I've had sex in this car though and it was great. I wish I could run a convertible here but having 2 cars is expensive.

The decent 300ZX weren't really rare back in mid 2000's, they were 10-15 years old cars. The one I had wasn't in pristine condition either it got roughed up be previous owners, it had a small leak on the top on the passenger side, if you drove in the rain sometimes the passenger would get water droplets on them.

Sounds like you're in a slump and the TSX Wagon is just an "IDGAF fuck it" knee-jerk reaction.
I think you'll be much happier if you finally solve the mystery/problem than to jump ship. In the short run, it'll feel great to be in a "new" car but you don't think they have their own fair share of problems?
I'd take another stab or let a professional take a look at it before jumping ship, you'll come back and thank us
Plus have you seen the TSX subforum...

And yes, a new car would be IDGAF fuck it car... but its certainly not knee jerk. I've given the TL-s a year to figure itself out. It's been to three shops (one dealer, one independent mechanic, and one performance shop that specializes in Honda/Acura). None of them could figure it out. The dealer though it was normal. The performance shop was embarrassed they couldn't figure it out but said there was definitely a problem.
And yes, a new car would have its own problems. But... Acura certified warranty. And low mileage. So, more peace of mind.

I think N1h1i1h1i1hi1h1h11ih1ih1i1h1l1l1i1lty was referring to Polobunny when he said PB
Quite the list - what year was the 350z?
I wonder if Hondata would fix your issues? If the parts were swapped out, then it might not be a mechanical thing after all? Just a thought of course
In no particular order, cars I've "flipped" but made no money from and that are worth mentioning:
350Z (shit car, felt so slow)
Legacy GT-B wagon (from a friend to me, to another mutual friend, that hoe, good)
300ZX non turbo (good and I see why people expect the 350Z to be good)
E36 328i (good)
The best was still the Legacy. That's like the most grampa car and it looks like a vertically challenged minivan and you could beat 98% of the people on the street just cause they'd take you as a joke. I thought of a Forester XT after this just for shit and giggle but I didn't end up doing it.
Cars not really worth mentioning:
Volks Jetta don't remember year, anyway was freaking backwards in that car
Mazda Protege 01
Accord 98
Civic 97

LOL at seeing the subforum. No, I haven't "seen" it today or last night. It's a sign.

I have a buddy who bought a 67 chevelle from I think Michigan. He paid 42k and is still needed a little bit of work done to it.
I want to get another C-10 slightly mod it and use it as a daily and get rid of the corolla.

It's not that expensive, I essentially swapped the same money over and over. Lots of the cars had way more km than the TL. And I used to live at my parents, working full time and more, raked in the cash way more than I do now haha!
The point was buying cars when summer started and selling them when summer ended, take a beater for winter, rinse and repeat. Having 2 cars at the same time is bad spending to me, you can only drive one at a time. Didn't want to have a summer car sitting in the parking lot all winter.
The TL I always liked the look and I've thought of keeping it until I run it into the ground but I'm already doubting myself after a year... I'm thinking G35 and then who knows. Eventually still want a Mercedes CLA 45 AMG since I've it...

But that G exhaust note is orgasmic... one of the best stock setups I've heard to date.

That's actually the car I was cross shopping for when I bought my TL. I would have bought one but I just couldn't get over the bland looks of the Legacy.

I'm trying to get my dad to go half with me on the Chevelle. Of course if you want one thats at least running it's going to cost you about 9-10k if you want just the shell I've seen them for about 5-6k. I've even thought about just getting a Nova, but it would have to be a 66-67

I saw a freaking near 1000hp Nova pop the back tires on the track a year or 2 ago. The guy had the tiniest wheelie bar on it... also a mad man.
Excuse the shitty video:

Man if I had half a brain I should have done some insurance quotes on some roadsters. Like 2 weeks ago I did a quote on how much insurance would cost me on an S2K and it was practically the same as the TL. I cried inside so hard lol. Could've had one right now

Bland look? I HATE wagons. Look absolutely disgusting to me. But sitting in it with a partially stripped interior and a few mods made it such a blast I didn't care. Just riding passenger in this was fun, it was like a completely different car than expected. It felt light, it felt quick, it was stupid fun letting Civics chase you with their riced out looks, people didn't even believe you when you were at a red light and revved the engine. It sounded good but still, a wagon??

I was always under the impression that they had some engine trouble? Iunno, what's done is done I guess. For what it's worth I love the styling of the TL a lot more than I do the G35. And the interior on the Gs was awful... still kind of is.

Also had a Corvette 88-89 on alcohol, "The Blue Shark" with ~2700hp. Was for sale for a while for only $52K or body only for $20K.

I mean hell, you guys know I used to hang around the problems forum and help people fix shit. It's easy to tell people where to look for things and what to do, but my issues have me stumped.
Especially the laggy acceleration. I've changed everything I can think of and still nothing. Good compression (great actually), no leakdown in the cylinders, no leaks of any fluids, changed all the appropriate sensors, etc. Must just be the heat soak like people have talked about.
It's got me stumped to the point of wanting to dump the car (obviously).

Also, what intake are you running? If it's the stock box, remove all the plumbing. You might have a fucking towel up there for all you know. New PCV, clean out EGR valve (don't 'delete' it), replace APP sensor, new Tstat. There are also two mods that do wonders.. first is removing lower air dams to let more air in, then cutting up the cowl to let the hot air out.
If you haven't done the TB coolant bypass, do eeet. That's a biggie. Fucking Tstat gets hot AF, especially if you're running a 200F Tstat. It's sole purpose is to keep your fucking TB from freezing up, which is only a concern if you live in the Tundra
Oh.. the biggest fucking reason why the J is a dog.. Timing.. you should be filling her with fucking sunoco, but at least 93 top tier petro. Look at those retarded octane threads.. it pulls timing on 93! That being said, I forgot what miles you have on her, but if you did 105k already, make sure everything is in-spec, including valves.

Fucking most amazing builds are Larry Larson's race / street builds.. not too many like him anymore. Here's his infamous Nova.
Check out his S10 build, new record.. keep in mind he drives these fucking cars to the track. Sometimes over 1000 miles. Whereas many builders put their fiberglass pieces of shit on a trailer and only send it down the track 2-3 times.

You buy a C10 SWB? You should get a F100 straight body. I've seen some spectacular ones. The SWB C10s and Fords are real popular here. A lot of guys have restomods.. freaking new frames, engine, everything.. yet they either leave the body as-is or straighten out imperfections in the body, but leave the paint looking like shit. Rustic POS is in I guess with new chrome wheels. I don't like it.
