Lol, mine definitely didn't have those. But it did have a healthy coating of rust and primer over the rear wheel arches.

It was called the hunny wagon. Bitches loved the hunny wagon.

No, I'm just in total denial about the piece of shit I used to drive, LOL. Hey, at least it was free, so I can't complain. My old man bought it at a car auction for $1500....

For the record, I don't think I ever had a girl in that car. Not for a good time, anyway.

Edit: he didn't specifically buy it for me. He bought it for himself at first. Drove it for a year and parked it. Sat around for two years and I claimed her as my own at 17. Score!!

I saw your thread and thought Dafuq?!?! Besides fuel economy why downgrade? TSX wagon is cool and all but I'm perfectly happy with my TL. If I didn't have one id consider it

I think it's a major downgrade as well. As much as I like the tsx wagon, I think the TL-S is a much nicer car overall

Sweet. Any car given when you're that age is good.

Edit: First time there was shagging in a car was in a beige Accord. Wasn't mine. :')

I've just not been impressed with the TL-s. At all. Certainly not the way I was with my Accord V6 6MT.

Not that I'll be any more impressed with a TSX wagon, but its 5 years newer with 100k less miles.

I'm just not attached to the TL-s like I thought I would be. And that's saying something because I absolutely loved my Accord coupe. Drove it for 7 years and 200k miles.

The downgrade, as far as I can see it, only comes into play with engine/power, transmission and rarity. That's all the 07 TL-s 6MT has over the wagon and I'm (obviously) willing to sacrifice that all for it.

Not sure what to say, displeased with the TL-S 6MT? I can't imagine you'd be happy with the TSX wagon then. o_o

My car doesn't have the power I think it should, either. It used to drink oil (that's stopped now after changing to 10w30 synthetic), it always gets the dreaded heat soak/lagginess and the acceleration is difficult sometimes.

I was planning on changing out the knock sensor and getting a valve adjustment. Already changed out the APP sensor.

Ideally... I'd just not want to worry about it. Its got 126k, but I just have a feeling it won't last me that much longer. It's been my bad luck car ever since I've owned it.

what exactly do you not like driving about the TL-S and in what respect was your Accord better?

Also, have you removed the stupid check delay valve (or whatever the hell it's called) for the clutch?

So essentially the issue is with your car in particular, not every 6MT TL-S? I say you should fix the problems and live a happy life. Unless you need the TSX wagon space, then there's not much you can do.

Well you seem like you've already made up your mind. We can't change your mind, it seems like you don't want the TL anymore.

I've never driven another 6MT TL-s but I would have to think this issue is with my car (And a few others I've read about) and not widespread. There's obviously a reason these cars are coveted.

My Accord handled better... steering was a tad lighter in the Accord, but it handled better stock for stock. Not as much understeer with it vs the TL. My Accord was also modded to the gills power-wise, which I didn't do to the TL so the comparison might not be valid, but that being said, I thought the extra power the TL-s had stock would make up for the lack of mods.

I have a low mileage, great condition, not that old, flawless in all respects 1990 Cavalier stationwagon with the badass 3.1L multiport fuel injected v6, if you're interested in doing a straight up trade.

You won't regret it. I promise.

Pics or GTFO, ha.

No, really... this is the kind of back and forth I need.

I really don't want to chase down the issue of laggy acceleration.

And no, I have not taken out the CDV. Was on my list of things to do just never got around to it. Like I said... I'm lazy. And I want a car I can be lazier with.

Interior in the TSX is as nice, if not nicer, than the TL. The sport wagon also has a different steering rack and system from the base TSX. It's surprisingly stiff and responsive, even next to the TL.

6MT Accord only comes in the coupe now, no more four door 6 speeds.

The Accord Sport is a 4 banger, hence the 5MT piece. The Accord 4 cylinders only have a 5MT option. Weird, I know.

Sir, you are incorrect. The 9th gen Accord Sport sedan comes in a 6MT but in only 2 colors...
