wow, im surprised how popular air fresheners are. I've never had one in any of my cars... I hate having anything out of place on my dash, that shouldn't be there- air fresheners, XM receivers, phone holders, GPS units, you name it.

Keep it simple. Keep it classy!

Air fresheners is a thing. And also a few years past.

Also, who had seat-belt shoulder pads?

I'm in the market to get a new(used) car for my Dad. He's driving around in a crappy 02 Camry and I want to get him a nicer car in a few months once their house is done with renovations. I'm thinking a 2G RL or something will fit him nicely but haven't seen many sold around ..

Any suggestions from ya guys?

Well.. he's not really looking, I'm just sort of finding a way to pay him back so I want to splurge for him. Sort of like, "Here dad, thanks for helping me out in the past, enjoy this in good health". But a used car for now so you can get to and from work comfortably. I'll get you a nicer car when you retire

"Strict with maintenance" = hey thoiboi, do oil change for me. hey thoiboi, steering wheel shake when braking, do brakes. hey, why this light on, fix it.

I think he'd gladly pay for premium fuel when I show him the reg v premium thread.

CTS-V

Or stick with Toyota and get a Lexo.. maybe GS350 or LS460. Although Morgie says the LS has issues with failing LCAs.. apprently it has 6 LCAs, steep on gas too.

i'd prefer to stay away from BMW HPFP issue scared me away from a used BMW.. CPO maybe... but i'd prefer jap over german because :asian: and reliability's sake. considering the gs350 actually... the new gs f sport is just gorgeous but i can probably find a nice CPO one .. oooo.. i do have a cousin that works at the largest toyota dealer (by volume) in America..

I wanted to see if i can stick to the Acura family but supply does not seem to support that wish

Shiet, if I bought my dad a 20-30k car as a gift, he'd cuss me out to no end and call me an idiot for wasting money.

I still hear about it every time I pull up in the Miata

Unappreciative, cheap ass immigrant folk...

My dad probably wouldn't take it and call me stupid for not buying a house. (even though I've bought 2)

Then moms will ask why you have no wife?

I'd buy my mom a car before my dad. Gotta deserve it, sorry!

For the moment though I simply fix everything all the time for her. Car & house. Works good enough.

Nobody from Florida is actually from Florida.
So thank you REST OF THE FUCKING WORLD for donating your herp derps to our State to then turn around and blame us for biting people's faces off.

Plus...the victim of that is doing well now!
