I just hit cancel a few times and it let me in. Most of the pictures are the ones we've already seen, althought there are a few new interior shots.

There really is not much of a difference with the 07 TL, I might just go with the 06 that I can get for under 32K. Then later on I can change the tail lights and put the money that saved towards a body kit. And if you want little extra horse power add a CAI or some other cheaper enhancement instead of payin 4k more.....

Damn, those Type-S wheels are ugly (as many have said before). However, I don't think they would look as bad in silver finish as opposed to gunmetal. Personally, I would like to see the current A-Spec wheels in silver finish on the TL-S.
On a different note, I don't know if I or anyone else has mentioned this before, but I would REALLY like to see the HFL functions integrated better with the navi. For example, I would like to be able to input the name and phone number for the contacts in my phonebook into the system using the keyboard on the touchscreen, then tie a voice tag to each phonebook entry. Acura could even still allow you to input the majority of the information using voice commands (probably only excluding name input). This would possibly allow more entries to be saved in the car's phonebook, as I think Acura limited the current number to 50 due to the fact that you have to listen to HFL read each contact back to you one-by-one in the order in which you programmed them into the system if you happen to forget the voice tag for one of your contacts. With the system that I'm proposing, you could scrool through your contacts on-screen, then hit or say "review voice tag" to have HFL play it back for you in case you forget. Heck, Acura could even have voice commands for each step of this process, which allows them to retain completely hands-free operation of the system once you program the contacts into your car's phonebook.
Does anyone else agree?

And those current TL owners not ecstatic about the features on this MMC (MINOR change)--myself included to some extent......just enjoy your TL, I drive mine like I stole it every day. I did that when I thought it had 270 hp, and I'm doing it even though the Type-S is coming. I don't care about declining sales volumes year-to-year, the average consumer just wants a good deal and the base TL still offers that, and the TL will continue to top the sales charts in the "entry luxury sedan" class as it has since it was released in 2003.
I still love my car! (But I still might trade up to an RL with A-Spec, or M35x if the perfect deal comes along.....)
PS....only six weeks away from my 3 year TL reliability review....will neuronbob finally buy an RL as he threatens to do every year?.....hmmmmm....

Has the commercial for the 07 came out yet?
Last night I got a call from my niece laughing and saying that I no longer had the newest TL. I asker her if she had seen the new one and she said the commercial was just on tv. My niece is 12 and just came out of the blue with this. She must have seen something on tv.

Hey guys I wasn't trying to stir the pot. I was just pointing out that Acura needs to be competitive and could of done a little more on this refresh.
Sure the new TL, looks good (besides those damn rims) and I don't mind some of the interior refreshes. Yes I understand it's a sales leader and offers good value. I was atleast hoping for a upgraded ELS DVD-A system from the RDX that has 410 watts of power. I was also hoping for ventilated seats. Yes the SH-AWD was wishful thinking for most of us.
Like many of y'all have said the 09' should get some major changes. Hopefully it will be available in the spring of 2008' as a 09'. (Is that wishful thinking also ?) I just checked the prices of a new 2007' BMW 335i sedan and it easily runs into the $50K range even without "active steer" so that box is checked of my list
I suppose right now I haven't found anything new I gotta have that is under $50K. If the 09' TL, has all the gadgets of the competitors + SH-AWD like I really want for around $45K loaded then that could very well be my next new car.
I was watching a TV show today and in a BMW 5 series it's a tight enough fit for a infant car seat, meaning a 3 series with my driving position wouldn't work anyways. The TL's rear seat room was just enough for a car seat in my former 2005' TL.
I guess I will have to see what the next Cadillac CTS and soon to come CTS-V brings to the table. Luckily we customers are getting lots of choices to choose from. I just want to keep my next car under $50K, and that is still a large segment to get lots of Gadgets and Technology at a fair price.

'06 TL or G35?
After reading pages and pages of this thread, I'm unable to figure this out. I've been set on a new TL, but there's so much talk of the G35. I think the pricing on both is very similar at the moment (the '06 anyway). I'll probably not pop for an '07, and hope to pick up one of these next month. I REALLY want IPod integration and navigation. Is there a clear choice here? Is the G35 larger, more luxury? There isn't an Infinity dealer near me, so I've not compared them yet. I understand the G35 is rear-wheel, but if I'm not a super-intense driver does it really matter? How does the electronics and interior compare?
Thanks,
bartone

07 G35 interior will be about equal to 06 TL, TL Nav is better, 07 G35 is RWD and has more horsepower, but terrible mileage. TL look better(subjective), 07 G35 is $3K higher MSRP than TL's MSRP, even more when you figure the deals you can get for the 06. If you don't need the rear wheel drive and are not "super intense" driver, TL is better deal(IMHO)

Retro fitting
What is the likely hood that we can put the '07 taillights and side mirrors on our '04 - '06 TLs? I know with Accords and Civics, Honda makes it almost impossible after a refresh. I really want the Type-S taillights and I hope it would fit. I'm not even going to ask a dealer, because they told me that all the '06 accessories would not fit/work with '04 - '05 TLs (Carbon Fiber steering wheel, ipod music link, etc.), which wasn't true. There are some stuff that I really like about the '07 TL, but I don't think it's worth trading my '05 TL for.

By the photos I've seen of the 07 TL the tailights look like that same size as the 04-06's. The salesman didn't know what he was talking about.

iPod and the TL?
I was told by my dealer that the '06 TL with nav can run (with an adapter) the iPod, and it'll show names and tunes on the nav screen - is that correct? If so, how much is the adapter?

That blue is the exact color I've been wanting in a tl for 3 years now, its just plain sick IMO. The Car and Driver pictures do a lot more justice to the car. Now, will there be a body kit option? and what are the 18's gonna look like?

Several shots of the navi screen:
In the second pic, look just above the upper right-hand corner of the CD player slot; there is now a third technology logo there (the first logo is the new one). The '04-'06 TL's only have 2 logo there: SEE THIS LINK FOR THE '06 TL
Anyone want to take a stab at what the tehnology the new logo is for?

Also note that it now says "FOLDER" above the "TUNE" knob; the big silver knob on the right for you non-3G TL owners.
Methinks there's more to this MMC refresh than meets the eye...

What else could "Folder" mean with context related to your audio system? Maybe some sort of navigation in a CD with MP3's?????
