$800? - check
Looks good? - check
But does it look $800 good when it's just an overlay and not a full carbon piece? - crackpipe.
I guess that's the price of one-off custom work, and I'm sure there's someone who will buy it. But damn! That someone isn't me!
I thought it looked a lot like konstantio's. Guess that's why!
Yeah, I went and looked at it and was prepared to rip it. But then I looked at the pictures and changed my mind - it looks *really* good. But then, the price. And let's be real - it's just covered stock parts.

here are my photos, although i think they make it look better than it is...

also you can see some clear fitment issues, around the cubbies and cupholder and also the cutouts for the silver things were absolutely terrible

kosta is a perfectionist. Money doesn't seem like an issue when it comes to mods. If it doesn't look good, he'll try again. Of course if he spent like 1 grand on this real CF wrap he's not gonna want to take a huge loss. But yeah, none of us is in the market for $800 trim pieces that look like #weightreductionzyo, when in reality it's just added CF over top. It's going to be extremely hard for him to sell these without at least taking a 40% loss on initial investment.

With that mod money, I'd love to get me a set of spirior tails, a new grille, and some monies to pocket

A couple more things:
Oil change (oil & labor)
Oil filter change (parts & labor)
Intake air filter (parts & labor)
Cabin air filter (parts & labor)
Rotate tires (labor)
Inspect a bunch of junk (labor)
$450 is stupid expensive.
$250 still feels expensive for what you get.
$150 is what I think it should cost. But no one asked me to price it... The cost of a "luxury" car, I suppose.
How much if you just ala carte those services at the Honda dealer?

After a little more than a year and going through two summers of heat like Satan's grundle, I finally got mah tints done.
Of course it happens to be the raniest week of the month and thus the coolest so I won't really be able to feel the difference.
I know everyone has been holding their breath waiting for me to get it done, so you can all breathe now.

I think it gives you more headache than actual gains iCrap. It's really one of those mods to get you that last ounce of power. I forgot which pulley of the set, but I read that one of them (or a combination of all of them) may cause stalling issues or hard to start issues (forgot). There's a thread somewhere on here where people are not very content with the product.

no space or time really. sucks living in an apartmnet
that better include a detail air freshener

I got them cleaned up pretty nice but i can't get the black crap off the inside
any ideas? used industrial degreasser spray along with a scotchbrite pad.

Also tried some ghetto burnt tip blowtorch stuff on the old one

I think i'm just gonna go at it with a abrasive pad on the dremel or air gun then clean that up with the scotchbrite. I don't think any chemical is gonna get that shit off.
Of course, it's pointless because it'll turn black again in a matter of weeks but hey whatever

I think that soot looking stuff will likely just come back within a few months. At least with the PCD it does haha. I wouldn't spend too much time trying to clean the inside.

I don't like bar keepers friend, its super gritty and leaves a bunch of tiny scratches on stainless steel. I don't know if you used it, but from the pictures, looks like you have some already.

^there's also a liquid version, however, i had found a can of the gritty powdered stuff underneath the kitchen sink.
so, i just use that and make sure that i use enough water to disolve the powder...and gloves, i wear gloves
