some really glossy deep blue with like metallic flecs

 

I was leaning towards a Milano Red since you rarely see red TSX's. I won't be too heavily modded... Just have coils, VIP Modular wheels, black housings, spirior tails, euro grille... Simple & clean is what I'm aiming for.

 

Milano red is nice but it fades. My friend has a '04 Milano and its faded, no matter how well you take care of it. If you park in the sun, I wouldn't recommend it honestly, as good as it looks. Any reason why you're going with a respray vs. a wrap?

 

You can keep Milano Red immaculate if you treat the paint right by applying sealant/wax on it regularly. If you don't then yeah the sun will get to it quicker than most paints. This Honda paint code has been around for quite some time now so yeah it isn't exactly new, more durable stuff.

 

started my car up after work and it ever so slightly stalled and turned over weakly, before going full strength. only thing i did was an oil change over the weekend.

when i looked at my receipt it showed they put in 5w-20 but i'm sure it shouldn't make a difference?

Yeah, that was also one of my concerns. I remember my Milano red 98 Civic had like 3 different shades of red on it lol. And I'm going with a respray because my car has a ton of dings and scratches that need to be repaired. My buddy owns a body shop so he said he would charge me the same if I were to paint it a diff color.

 

I like this blue too. Saw a BMW in this color today.

at 21k miles? maybe?

 

Just take it to a Autozone/Advanced Auto Parts and they can check if it needs to be replaced.

I guess it's good and bad that it's low mileage, but if you or the previous owner weren't driving it and the battery needed a deeper recharge, frequent jump-starts etc. it does shorten the life of the alternator.

 

That blue is very nice but it kind of looks like painters tape lol

Man, I was out for a full day after getting mine out and that was with just a local anesthetic. Internetting would have made me puke. Although, the internet wasn't really a thing then...

But those pills though!

 

Had all 4 pulled out at once. Those pills were awesome. They were so effective that, you absolutely knew when they were wearing off and when they would kick in. When it starts to hurt like a bitch, take a pill and in a few minutes, pain magically disappears!


... then again, a lotta other things magically disappeared as well

Now that looks pretty sharp. A bit more red than the old Laguna blue (which IMO was one of Honda's most attractive blues).

Any idea on those wheels though?

 

never mind, I actually RTFA and found: 19-inch ADV5.0 M.V2 SL

 

The 19-inch ADV5.0 M.V2 SL custom wheels are wrapped in Pirelli 245/40/19 P Zero tires.

Yeah I read that article before and knew it was custom, but it's pretty close to KBP. Looks awesome


Would you guys choose this color over a Red?

 

 

I'd choose just about any color over red. But if I were going for a custom color, I'd go a bit darker blue than that even. But I'm not repainting and you're considering it so.... do you like it?

I actually wasn't considering any other color besides Red until I saw this one. I love it. I've always been a big fan of red since my first car was red, but I think it's time for a change.
