That miata was one of the few cars I took a picture of; because of the Apache's! Didn't even glance at the dash, those gauges would have made my trousers tight.
I don't normally think of the miata as old enough to rock classic parts like that, but I guess it really is. Damn.

...and I found the answer. Overlays. SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES! Sort of makes me want a miata now. Well, makes me want one still. But that would be one of the first changes. Very cool!
Oh, and fun note. My tablet keeps trying to autocorrect "miata" to "mistake".

$70 ish:
Honda Automotive Parts
I've seen pairs on eBay for a bit less, in the $100 range for 2 if you don't mind used.

I seem to recall 2012wagon saying they were the same.
I did some scaled potatochopping and physically, it looks like the AP2, Accord Sport, and (get ready...) Crosstour tips fit the same in the TSX cutouts. I'd be surprised to learn that Honda didn't use the same size exhaust pipe for all three. I think the only difference between the three are the slash angle. I was going to check out the Crosstour because I figure as shitty as that car is, it'd be funny to actually buy some parts for it! Haven't got there yet though.
I may have considered this option before... I mean, a friend of mine thought about it...

hmm ill look for some crosstour ones if they are the same. I gotta get something else though, cause the stock ones are way too small especially when the modulo is on. And anyways my right stock one is totally destroyed.

They should fit just as good as the ap2 or stock ones. I even found a ton of knock offs for much less that looked similar.

Please post pictures of both ours when you're done. This is gunna look really cool!
Im guessing we are good on cost correct?
Wait, when did the changeover from the foot well lights "always on" to "only on with the door open" occur?
Because if your foot well is always on, I don't think you want to power the sills all the time. I mean, it won't really hurt them per se, but the EL does have a life time and will get progressively dimmer. Probably not within your cars lifetime but no sense in needlessly powering them if you don't need to.

I'd say the bigger problem might be the inverter driving the lamp though. I'm like 99% sure whatever you're getting isnt a high quality one. Those simply don't exist anymore since EL all but up and died.
Id be concerned about shorting one of them out and causing additional electrical problems upstream.
YMMV, and it's ultimately your choice. Realistically you probably won't have any problems. But to be most safe, *I* would tap into a switched power source. Probably the little door light that comes on with the door open / door unlock. Whatever it is that the people are tapping into for the mirror puddle lights.
