Just spoke with Jack.
Couple of things..
1. Chips should ship out the door on Tuesday.![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
2. Matt, call him, he'd like to hear some feedback from man.. (Just step away from your CAR!)
3. Jack mentioned something about the NOS map they did off of Matt's car will handle both 50 and 75 shot, and that the way the chip managed the Timing was better than what Zex's unit can do. For example. 50shot on Unichip > 50shot on Zex controller. :o I think matt might have more details on this. I really don't know too much about laughing gas.

Ok, so if my name is on the list already has he said anything about how we're going to pay him the rest of the money for the chip? Will he ship the chip first and bill us afterwards or should we be working to pay him for the chip right now so it will ship out on Tuesday?

If you didn't put your deposit in way back months ago you can't participate in this group buy. Hopefully there will be another one in a few months for those who missed out.

But yes, he will contact you all for payment info prior to shipping.

here is the dyno sheet.
a few things. it says 50 shot but i have a 75 shot. it says 4th gear but i know they did the dyno in 3rd.
the numbers are SAE corrected for flywheel hp and tq. i was able to look at the uncorrected numbers on the dyno computer screen and the max wheel horsepower was 244 w/ unichip, 301 w/ unichip and n2o. the way this machine measures output shows my drivetrain loss at ~ 12%.
this is the email from Jack that came along w/ the dyno chart.

Matt,
Here's the dyno sheet for your car. It's quite a few lines and bears some explanation. Remember, dashed lines are torque and solid lines are bhp; everything is SAE and flywheel corrected. The Light Yellow lines are stock/dry, the Red lines are Unichip/dry. The Gold lines are stock/NOS and the Orange lines are Unichip/NOS.
The biggest "weird" aspect to the chart is the large disparity between the Gold and Orange lines at low rpm; as we discussed, that results from the manual "power roll on"
required with the stock NOS configuration to not bend the engine or smoke the tires and the progressive/Unichip controlled NOS application on the Unichip runs. Note: the stock NOS numbers at low rpm very much represent us trying to not hurt the car at low rpm and can probably be significantly higher when an experienced driver who has lots of NOS launch experience drives the car. Best case, however, would be drawing a smooth line from the stock NOS curve at 4500 rpm back to where the other 3 curves (dry/stock, dry/Unichip, and
NOS/Unichip) are essentially coincident; that represents a theoretically perfect stock/NOS launch and you can see you're still making far less power than with the computer controlled Unichip launch.
The other aspect of note is the way the Unichip/NOS curves drop away to the stock/NOS curves near redline again because the Unichip is automatically shutting the NOS down 400 rpm prior to redline.
Average gain dry was 4.7% across the entire rpm with a maximum gain of 8.8%, both above just the hardware modifications with a peak of 277.7 bhp and 221.0 lb-ft. The NOS gains were average 23.9% across the entire rpm range, with a peak gain of 86.1% and a maximum of 342.1 bhp and 287.4 lb-ft (calculating only data above 3000 rpm since you'll only be below that in 1st gear, the numbers become 10.5% average across the rpm band and 40.2% peak gain).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Jack

I just checked the emails I've sent unichip .. I sent them mod info, shipping address, but definetly never payment info .. and my name was not on that list. I definately want my chip to ship ASAP on tuesday .. has anyone else gotten an email asking for payment info or has anyone else given it to them already and gotten a response?
