guys, sorry to get your hopes up. it wont be done until tomorrow.

they are doing much more w/ the n2o tuning than i ever expected. mostly to make the system safer on my car.

i will have all the details for you tomorrow. numbers, dyno's, pics, first impression etc. i may even go to the track tomorrow night.

yep, i've been beating the piss out of it.

definately feels faster, n/a and with the n2o. they want me to drive it for a week and get my impressions of how the chip is working and make sure my car doesn't throw any CEL's. they have to finalize some wiring and do a few misc. things next thursday and that's when i will get the dyno charts and numbers. and they have it broken down proper like.

what i can say is my n/a gains were similer to Brians, just higher because of my pulleys and light wheels. my car put down over 240whp w/ the chip.

as for the nitrous. they completely integrated the system into the unichip. the solenoid is no longer contolled by the zex box, it runs off the unichip.

this allowed them to make the onset of the n2o progressive by pulsing the solenoid until a certain rpm level is achieved. it also allowed them to make the n2o cut off at 7000 rpm, which will prevent me from hitting the fuel cutoff while spraying. in turn making the system much safer for my car.

my car put down over 300whp on n2o.

i found out something else that's really cool. since unichip now considers my car a "test mule" they will retune it as necessary as i add new mods. so if i add a 100 shot, cams and res, they will be able to squeeze every bit of potential out of the car.

if the rain will keep away for a few hours i may get a few runs in at the track tonight.

So what was your dyno'd WHP N/A without the unichip?

Wow that's pretty awesome..! Get it to the track..! 240 and 300 are some impressive numbers.

That's cool they gave it a cut off point for things to be safer..

So are you feeling noticable power in the mid-rpm range? That's where we suffer the most.

do you feel a noticeable kick at the top end in VTEC in addition to the larger midrange power? (NA of course)

He will most definitely be in the 12s with his current setup. allmotor's 12.9 turbo run was when he had around 350 whp. With NOS you are going to trap higher and finish quicker than with a turbo setup. He should also be able to pull off some great 60's with his lightweight wheels.

As discussed months and months ago, for supercharged applications the GReddy E-Manage is the way to go for you guys. The Uni-Chip is better suited for us N/A folks.

Unless you plan on running greater than 6 PSI boost and at which point it would need to be intercooled; there is no need for electronic controls to be added.

If the intention is to run 8 PSI intercooled then fuel supplements outside of the FPR are required. At which point, as mrsteve stated, you should look to the E-Manage. The Unichip would require additional injectors to be installed and tuned making it less desireable than the E-Manage. The E-Manage will control the stock injectors.
