Actually, I suspect most of the gains come by way of advancing the timing. I couldn't get much when just tuning the fuel curve. Also, after looking at the plot, it mirrors the base line output; just elevated which indicates timing adjustments for the most part.

Nevertheless, the gains are real and should make many people happy. I am glad to see this thing coming to fruition finally.

Thanks scalbert for everything you've done. I don't know the ins-and-outs of how the chip actually works, but this guy's ignorance and saying that installing the chip will destory our engines and kill the resale value of our cars even more just pissed me off.

Will I see my maximum potential gains right away from plugging in the chip or will the ECU need to adjust after a few hours, days, weeks, etc.

I'm curious because if I can take it to the dyno with the chip and without the chip within the same day it would save me $$$

You will see the gains right away. Just let the car stabilize the temperatures for the base line and the Unichip run.

Has everyone received this email??? If not I recommend you call or email Todd and let him know..

I have received everyone’s contact info via email. As we move closer to the ship date I will need to verify
Mailing addresses, payment details (C.O.D., Visa or MasterCard) and shipping options with all of you. Our company standard is FedEx 2 Day,
So if anyone would prefer an option differently please let me know. We will be ready to ship out PnP Kits to the Group Buy Members
By May 15th as I’m sure everyone is excited to get revved up with there new modification. If you have any other concerns please feel free
To contact us.

Kind Regards,

Todd Brainard

Member Randy beat you to it, but if he falls through, I am interested; my car is being parted out as we speak, and will be traded in on a 540i by the end of this week. I'll let you know

Once they see the gains on the track and on the dyno, i'm guessing the value of this chip will exceed our purchase price.

Only 35 made... exclusive mod!

13s here we come.

The problem was I had just bought headers when this was going on so I didn't have the money. I didn't know they were going to just make a certain amount and no more. I was hoping to just buy it later, but at a higher price.

Yea same thing happened with me. Setting aside money for headers put the hurt on me financially.

Spill the beans already...!

On a side note, Brian or Matt has UniChip had either of your cars in to confirm the PnP harness?

Is there anyone else in the groupbuy who did not get the second email from unichip yet? I sent them my info on the mods of my car a few weeks ago and they wrote back but I haven't heard from them since

Yea I'm sure you've got a real job or rich parents. I don't have either and on top of that I have to save up for grad school ($40k a year). I hope there's a 2nd GB when people see or realize what they missed out on.

Nah, Vandy is cool.. No offense taken..

I'm 26, Not married and no women at the moment with a pretty decent job.. So I can spend some money on my other girlfriend (CLS)..

But I agree at the time of the UniChip GB, the GB on the headers was at the exact same time with no estimate arrival time on the UniChip. Makes it tough to make a decision..
