- head lights look the same, maybe a tad slimmer
- grill is slimmer and less pronounced. They have a small body color strip between the hood and the grill and have removed the chrome trim from the hood too.
- fogs are integrated into the air intake in the lower portion of the bumper and not in the bumper like the RL.
- alloys are nine oval, slim bars. I like the current ones better though.
- the lower body sill is a bit more pronounced to stand out more
- 3/4 front view only, so no rear shot
Overall the restyle is very subtle with the fogs standing out the most.

I visited an Acura dealer in North Haven, CT on 8/17. He had NO idea about the TSX upgrades. I had to fill him in. The dealerships have no more information than what we have already seen on the internet. He didn't expect that they would have the cars on the lot until late-October/early-November. I was prepared to buy an '05 in March (saving my down payment). Depending on the changes, I will either bite the bullet and pay full price for the '06, or, if the changes aren't significant enough, hope for a really good buy on an '05.

As long as the TSX will never look like anything like the USDM Accord you have my blessing.

Went by a Schuler's Bookstore and a Barnes & Nobles today, but no October issue in the building yet. Which kinda makes sense given that it isn't even September yet...
Someone puh-leeeeze scan that puppy and post it!!

Those of you with the Oct. R/T are cold and heartless! You have to post that pic! Just think of it this way, you'll be the first person to put it up on the internet.

I got my issue of R&T today, don't worry guys, it's not aggressive and still looks very sleek. To me, the grill looks a little wider and not as tall. The front bumper change looks subtle. To me, it looks more like a TL, but isn't close enough to me mistaken for one. Oh, there's no more accent on the hood. I really like it.

Summer is Coming
Hi Guys... My first post after lurking here for months... i'm very serious about the '06 w/Navi and appreciate all the discussion and contributions on this and other threads.
I know that the '06 will have an improved Navi system with features similar to the RL's navi. But... the RL's Navi is not a touch screen system. I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether the new TXS Navi is the same as the RL's and would this mean no touch screen?? Or (hopefully) just a souped up version of the TSX. I've played with the TSX touch screen and it works quite well from what I can tell. Obviously we may not know for sure until the car comes out, I'm just wondering what you think.

Modifying the interior to add a joystick, a la RL, would be a pretty major change. Not going to happen until a major overhaul. All of the changes mentioned can be accomplished without too many modifications.

The changes definitely seem subtle. I think I like the front changes, makes it look a little bit more like the TL. I also like the fog lights integrated into the front spoiler rather than the air intakes, makes it look a lot less like an after thought. The grill itself...not sure. I liked the contrast of the chrome accent around the grill. But this ain't bad.
As far as the turn lights in the mirrors go...I think there are still there, just very difficult to see with this car color and picture size.

I'm a little disappointed I guess.... I've been staring at the pic and trying to picture it in different colors. I think I liked the old grill better. I was hoping for a meatier, meaner stance, RL-esque. Oh well, I guess if I can get an '05 for a steal, maybe I'll just be happy with that.

Wow... I really don't like the way they put the fog lights... it still looks like something is missing when the other holes are. And its gonna allow stupid people to put like 10 fog lights on there.
Another thing I hate is the wheels... they don't fit the car at all

Yeah... I sort of expected a slightly more aggressive look as well. I just realized that to me, it now looks a bit more like a Honda. Or something. I'm not particularly impressed by the changes, but I still like the looks of this car plenty enough to keep my order alive

I hate to say it, but the changes don't look that good. But I'll reserve final judgement for a better pic of the car. If they removed the lights from the side mirrors I'll be really pissed.

it's hard to imagine a body kit with the new front bumper and side skirt lines. and i agree on the wheels, there are a lot more choices that would have looked nicer.

No matter how bad an element or two of the car looks, consider this:
There is no car on the market under $30,000 that has Bluetooth, Navigation, and everything else that's standard on the car.

okay, so i'm on an island here...
i think the front looks a lot better, actually.
the old one was a bit bloated looking to me...it always seemed to accentuate the deep front overhang too much w/ all that meat below the grill...
the hood seems slimmer too, not so much crease.
and the new side skirts look good as well...
the thing i'm worred about is the rear, one of the tsx's best attributes IMO.

Well the fog lights look better. A more integrated design.
Bad thing is now it makes those of us (04s, 05s) who opted for the factory installed foglights look like we went the janky aftermarket route.
