Here's a nit question, do you suppose that the '06 allows remote *UP* and down of the windows? (I use this a lot, and it would be neat if it would roll the windows up with the key fob).....

Yup, I think it has turned a bit girly. Before from the front it looked pretty mean, now it has a little girlish grin to it

Keep on trying to make yourself feel better.

It's amazing how critical people get when they are insecure.

I agree... in reality the cars have far more in common than they are different. If you thnk the 06 looks ugly then you must be ignoring the fact that it is 99% identical to the 04/05. The subtle changes don't make it that much different. It's not like were talking a whole new car.

The totality of the 06 changes are very much positive. More HP, Bluetooth, better Navi, mem seats, improved drivetrain warrenty, etc.. and I suspect the price difference will not be that great. The 06 will definately be a better seller than the 04/05 and I'm glad I waited.

Wow. Little harsh aren't we? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Not that I dislike the addition of added power and gadgets, but making the car look less agressive and instead look closer to a Solara front end does not suit me. I was hoping the restyle would look more like the Modulo front end, but looking at this I was a bit miff about it.

Do you guys think the hood is any different (other than lack of chrome)? In other words, you we use the 06 hood on our 04-05 cars w/ the Mugen grill and/or bumper and have a clean seamless look? I know it will be more expensive than the JDM hood strip, but it's cleaner.

The answer is NO. They are exclusively for the JDM Accord only.

Other than those you have already mentioned another JDM Accord exclusive I wanted the most is the keyless entry system.

Someone pointed this out on vtec.net. It's the light pattern that's changed. The 04-05's have a grid pattern, while the 06's get a starburst-like light pattern.

You can see the difference better in this pic:
http://www.vtec.net/news/news-image?...reardetail.jpg

As someone else mentioned, the reverse lights are tinted on the 06s.

Still, I agree, no LED's = disappointing. I was hoping for a swap.

What the? Did anyone read this? I thought only the RL did this?

"When the driver enters the car with the key fob, the TSX automatically adjusts the driver's seat to his preferred position. A tilt and telescopic steering wheel allows the TSX to accommodate a wide range of drivers"

Even the '02-'03 TL has that feature, it works with the memory seat part of the car. If I'm not mistaken, the side mirrors does that too.

I have to disagree. Look at the voice button for the navigation system, it has two buttons behind it like on the TL.

Also, if you look closely at the graphics on the right two buttons, it doesn't look like the universal symbol of a telephone picture.

Again, I believe it's probably something for the MID.

Easier to see in big picture, there is an 'i' button. Guess that would be for info and control the new multi function display.

The phone controls are clearly on the left.

i think the new IS250 will start at or below $30, but with the same features as the TSX i think it will be closer to 34-35K. lexus options/packages are pricey.

The '06 TSX is the car. I don't think the '05 TSX would stand as well against a new IS250.

i really like the '06 IS250 but the '06 TSX will probably still be less expensive. IMO acura really hit the sweetspot with the '06 TSX: great nav, bluetooth, memory seats, gas mileage, mp3 aux, and enough hp for day-to-day use (don't let the 205hp fool you, with the old rating scale it's probably close to 215~220hp) all for under $30K

added features and power are nice of course (althought the small bump inpower is probably just an "on paper thing" sine I doubt you would feel the difference). But the styling changes are Not liking the new grill at all.

The '06 silver appears to be a bit darker, but that could just be because of the lighting in the photo. I can't imagine why Honda would just change the name and not the actual color.

Possibility of Updating?

Im not a big fan of the 06 yet, maybe it will be better in person...lets hope.

One thing that I ponder, would it be possible to add the new Multi Function Display/Hands Free link and the new navigation CPU to an 04-05 TSX?

I was contemplating a used TSX w/ navi but these new features are hard to resist. So if I could get a used TSX, update the nav and add handsfree link, it may just end up being a win-win situation. Let me know what you think...
