Mantis, we all know why you want a water hose out there . . .

You are in serious need of rehydration after all the last night.

I think I'll just keep the AEM. I love the sound of it. And even if it only gives 8hp, that would mean I'd be paying $250 for an extra 8hp.

Ruf, you didn't think i was gonna let you keep that expensive Acura collectors pen did you? :P

Come on over. The weather is great, I have a water hose, and I have Speed channel on the TV! DuckBlue, I will PM the location of the party tree! (for those that don't know, that is the place all the dogs were driving to in the children's classic, Go Dog Go!, one of my personal favorites).

There are 3 of us, all TLS Automatics.

One has C/T Headers already
One has no mods
The other one has OBX headers, plugs, and maybe something else, not sure.

Anyway, we should have a good feel for gains across the board.

As for dynos, don't know when we can get those done, but 2 of us did have baseling dynos done a few months ago.

So depending on our schedules and funds we plan to get another one done.

We also have recent time slips so we can compare those at sometime as well.

I'm hoping to hit 14.5. And that would be with just the Ice Box. Headers will be a while.

That way we will have a stock baseline, a just ice box, a just Comptech header, and an ice box plus CT header set. We will post these dynos but don't start bitching because we don't even have the day set yet. The place mostly is a Mustang shop, but we know a guy.

Inferno
We are going to do another dyno!!! Inferno

Thank you guys for coming up, for helping me, DeezNutz, and RUF, and for not rubbing it in when Mantis had to call Acura Roadside Assistance. RUF and I also found out we needed an extra bolt, so thanks for picking those up. We can settle up over coffee at Starbucks, soon, OK RUF? Bluesman, I love those tires, by the way!

So when do we hit the dynos and the track?

Also, here is the Comptech dyno that shows a peak gain of 14 hp and 12.8 tq, but with big gains across the whole power band in both hp and tq. I know we have all seen this, but I thought I would repost it until we see our own dynos!

Thanks again for hosting, Inferno.

My CL-S sure runs strong now. Stupid speed limits...

I would love to shoot for a Friday, March 7th track night.

Absolutely! I can say that I was never concerned about having this group over to my house--very respectful folks with everyone pitching in to lend a helping hand. There was no trash left over, we finished on time, I didn't get in trouble by my sweet, sweet girlfriend (she thought everyone was very nice, by the way), and my only disappointment is missing the group photo at the lake. You guys are really a class act. Cheers, Inferno

I asked my neighbor about the header install, and he said his shop couldn't do it cause they don't have welding capabilities. But then when I assured him that it's all bolt-ons he said that might be something him and I could just do in his driveway. He told me to just let him see them when they come in so he could get a feel for what we'd have to do.

I hope this works out. I really wanted to put them on myself but didn't want to screw something up since I have no experience. But this way I'll get to watch a pro put them on, and learn from him.

Danny, they are easy to put on, just time consuming. You need a good jack for the downpipe to cat part, but everything else is just a little elbow grease and some tight spaces. Using a socket set is all you will need.

OH MY GOD, I AM I LOVE!!! Dean can get me these wheels for $375 each (shipped) and the Brembo's for $2,065 shipped. I really, really want those wheels before spring. I told you they were 14 lbs but I was wrong: they are 12.9 lbs each!!! Thank you for this picture--I am saving it for nights I am home alone and need something to help me go to sleep...

Danny, thanks again for all your help on Saturday. I think these ice boxes are the real deal. Inferno

Wow guys, great meet! Thanks again Inferno for hosting and thanx to you guys for lettin the Nissan help .

For all of you who came to the Nissan meet saw some "interesting" cars to say the least yet showed up a bit too late and missed the Skyline.

As far as a Track Night/Dyno Day, the Nissan ppl and I are going to wait until the spring so that there is a little warmth in the air which will be better for our tires but not too warm which will be better for our engines .
