Here is my analysis:

I think there are a lot of factors, the driver being one of the most important. I think Ruf is the most experienced driver, so I think he gets a couple of 10ths on most inexperienced drivers just by doing it right.

I think Danny has a strong car--plus he has shown why the cold air intake is such an important mod: just look at that 14.6 with only an AEM intake.

I think I need all the help I can get, so I am getting those new wheels as soon as I can (I am shooting for March).

But don't forget the sleeper ride of the club--Civic. He has that 6 speed manual and he is super quick in the 60'. I believe he is trying to get a set of headers--and if he can't get those he will be getting the ice box for sure (speculation).

I think it will be Civic, Ruf, Danny, and Inferno all too close to call. Looks like we need to set up the shootout!

If I have a shot at "Top Gun" and need the extra little bit, either the back seat goes or I'm getting UR pulleys!!!

oh yeah, forgot about civic's 6 speed. If the mods are equal or even close, he should definately be the quickest.

hey Nutz, has the resonance with your headers changed at all with the ice box? Some one was asking about that here: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=95897 .

Meeting place hasn't been decided yet, I'm guessing somewhere just north of Dallas (Plano area). Where are you gonna be, if you'd like, I'm sure we could swing by your neck of the woods on the way down.

sorry guys been busy tending to my "game" and not mcuh time for the board... so yeah, I just had my rotors resurfaced under warranty today. These brakes are gay... I've also recently hit 12K miles... I drive too much...

so yeah, I've just been crazy busy between this girl I've been dating and school and MCAT classes... I'm up for a shootout... when are we gonna go play? I need to get myself an AEM before we go out there next time or that icebox... the headers are looking more and more outta my range now that I'm going out so much more and drinking so much more... (spending too muhc $$$ drinking) how's everyone?

good to hear from you Civic, it's been a while. Mantis and Hanzie are gonna shoot out to ennis tomorrow I believe and I know I wanna go ASAP. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend tomorrow night's festivities.

If ya need any help installing an Ice Box or any sort of CAI, let us know. We're professionals now

red/smoked...?

Well guys I used the all clear tail light assemblies I got and painted the bottom section red, then custom smoked the turn signal and reverse lights (the picture makes my reverse lights still look normal clear).

The other car is darrick (DNE Pres). The 97-99 Max's are easy to clear and smoke darn it, but I have a one of a kind!

Too funny.

This ain't the seventies, Civic--you gotta rap it with something rubber. Maybe some R compound...

well... with the 97-99's, in order to clear the turn signals all you have to do is pull the lens off the housing and then within the housing is an orange insert that you just pull out. With that out, we paint the inside of the housing with a matte black spray paint then reassembled the taillight assembly.

That's the short version.

Guy seemingly got ripped on a Ebay order of wheels. How funny would it be if about 8 CL's pulled in (and some Nissans), sat in the parking lot and waited to have a "Chat".
